Designed for use in performance venues, broadcast houses, and broad-scale A/V installations, the Jensen Transformers Iso-Max DIN-2MS-2P Mic Splitteris a passive, two-channel mic splitter that lets you distribute two microphone signals to two consoles at the same time, while eliminating hum and buzz caused by ground loops. Plug-and-play with no power required, the unit snaps into place onto a standard 35mm DIN rail, for easy installation in a NEMA electrical enclosure.

The DIN-2MS-2P features two premium Jensen mic bridging transformers which reduce common-mode noise by as much as 130 dB. The unit delivers a flat frequency response from 5 Hz to 100 kHz, with less than 2° phase shift at all frequencies. It also provides a 48V phantom power return path for use with condenser microphones or active direct boxes.

For safety, the DIN-2MS-2P comes equipped with a gray molded assembly made from UL94-VO flame-retardant Noryl.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is the 2.5mm end type A or type B?

A: Information about the CME WIDI DIN-5 MIDI Cable's wiring has not been made available by the manufacturer. It is intended to be used with the CME WIDI Jack Wireless MIDI-Over-Bluetooth Adapter, which allows switching between Type A and Type B.

Q: 2. Can this spilt audio and mic from an iPhone 11 Pro if connected via Apple Lightning to 3.5mm adapter?

A: It can not.

Q: 3. The description is ambiguous. Is this an analog to digital converter? Are the input connectors RCA or XLR?

A: Yes it is. It is also an audio interface. This is a list of the inputs and outputs:2 x combination XLR-1/4 inputs2 x 1/4 TRS line inputs, phone type1 x 5-pin DIN MIDI input1 x 5-pin DIN MIDI output2 x 1/4 TRS main outputs, phone type1 x 1/4 headphone output, phone type1 x 5-pin DIN MIDI output

Q: 4. Good for info on shooting flat and MLUTS? I'm looking at this book and Doug Jensen's Master Class on Vimeo. I'm basically trying to figure out which one to buy as I don't need or want both. I'd rather buy the less expensive book if it has the info I need. What I'm really looking for is some clarification on Cine EI and S-Log and it's function, MLUTs and Look Profiles and scene files and how they operate. I've been working with Sony cameras for a long time. Most of the operation is all very familiar to me, but I'm new to shooting flat and I don't really understand how one thing affects another when it comes to MLUTS and s-log, etc. Any help in making a decision would be greatly appreciated.

A: Hey Brad,Basically I was in the same boat as you, I know Sony cameras inside and out but was new to a camera that shot s-log and had the ability to show a client an MLUT on a monitor so they weren't looking at a flat, unflattering and washed out image that no matter how much you tell them won't look like that when you've finished adding a LUT. Dougs book is great especially when you are out in the field and you need a quick refresher, something you can't do with the video presentation that he also has. I also like the fact that at the end of each chapter Doug, gives his own personal recommendations which really do help. He really is able to break down the camera within each chapter and write it in a way that you automatically understand. Lastly Brad, this FS7 camera comes with way more menu options than even I thought it did and Doug breaks down what every single thing means. He also let's you know how many mbps each shooting style records at. I would definitely recommend this book to you or a friend. Good luck and enjoy the camera, I bloody love it!

Q: 5. will this work with a Canon C400?

A: Yes, the Tentacle Sync Tentacle to DIN 1.0/2.3 Cable is fully compatible with the Canon EOS C400 6K Full-Frame Digital Cinema Camera, which features 1x DIN 1.0/2.3 (Genlock, Return, Sync) connector and 1x DIN 1.0/2.3 (timecode) connector.

Q: 6. Would a Blue Yeti fit in this?

A: It would be a very tight fit on the Blue Yeti. I would consider using an Auray PFMU-12 Universal Wire Mesh Pop Filter with 12" Gooseneck (Matte Black), BH #AUPFMU12 with this mic, and an Auray RF-C12 Professional Desktop Isolation Filter (Gray), BH #AURFC12. These would pair well with the Blue Yeti.

Q: 7. How do I wire the two speakers together--can I do it with standard speaker wire?

A: When purchased, the speakers come with the cable to connect the two speakers. The main speaker has a 1/4" speaker output, and the second speaker has bare wire clips.

Q: 8. We use 70V PA systems in our conference room. They have built amplifier and equalizer. Would this transformer go between the equalizer and the amplifier or between the amplifier and the speakers?

A: This transformer is used to send balanced or unbalanced line level audio signals over long distances. It would be placed between an equalizer and an amplifier.

Q: 9. Does it come with a power supply?

A: Yes. The JBL Control 2P speaker package comes with a power supply.

Q: 10. what is the thread size of screw?

A: This is a 1/4-20 thread mounting bracket.

[5 Hz to 50 kHz] We got a new cable box for the home theatre and with it a ground loop hum. This filter worked perfectly to get rid of the hum and did not interfere with the digital cable programming

[5 Hz to 50 kHz] I was getting hum from my REL T9 subwoofer. REL customer service helped me track down the cause to electrical noise originating from my coax Xfinity cable connection and flowing through my cable box and my AV receiver and out to my subwoofer. After adding this ground isolator the hum immediately disappeared.

[0.57 lb] Had a 60 cycle hum in my audio/video system and narrowed It down to the Blu-Ray player and cable box were causing a ground loop. Installed the Jensen ISO-Max VRD-1FF on the cable line before the box and it worked - no more hum. Much thanks to Jensen and B&H.

[2] I have Denon & Atmos speaker setup, cablebox from Comcast & a subwoofer. The cheap $20 isolator available online didn't do a good job since comcast signal was degraded per their tech. He said that it introduced some noise feed back to their other customers. Not sure how much of that is true but he did say that if I were to get an isolator get something over 1000mhz and this one fit the spec. I installed it and so far all is great. No issues.

[0.57 lb] This is the second VRD-1FF I've bought. The first one lasted 9 years, but this spring our house was hit by lightning. The old VRD-1FF started adding 6dB signal loss, so I figured the lightning hurt it. Just like the original, the new VRD-1FF has eliminated the ground loop hum that was on our incoming CATV Cable

[0.57 lb] I needed to create a balanced input on a FM broadcast exciter to eliminate hum. This transformer did the trick perfectly and was delivered quickly. You can't go wrong with a Jensen transformer.
