A: The MuxLab 1x2 UHD 4K DisplayPort Splitter does not support EDID. Unfortunately it would have to be tested to see if it was functional with your requirements. B&H does have a 30 day return period that would allow you to test it with your setup.

Q: 7. Can I use my Chromebook as a screem for my XBox One using this adapter?

A: No. This will not act as a capture card for your Chromebook.

Q: 8. The description states that this device is "HDMI 1.4 Compliant". Does this mean that it supports 4k, but only at 30Hz?

A: Yes, that would be correct. Due to the limitation of the internal chipset.

A: According to MuxLab this splitter will duplicate identical DisplayPort 1.2a content from one DisplayPort connector to two monitors. DisplayPort 1.2a supports 3840 x 2160 pixels at 60Hz. This should send two 4K streams to both monitors.

[3.36 Watt] A great solution when wanting to run multiple DVI-D monitors from a single display port output on a desktop. I purchased this MST adaptor (MSTDP122DP) and passive DP to DVI-D cables (DP2DVI2MM6) however after speaking with the knowledgeable guys in technical support I actually needed their active cables (DP2DVIS) to run my DVI monitors with the MST adaptor. A very happy customer. 5

[4096 x 2160] If you have a device that only has one (1) DisplayPort the 3-Port MST Hub works wonders to add an additional two (2) displays. In today's workspace two monitors are nice but three makes it better. The 3-Port MST hub is easy to use making it an inexpensive/easy upgrade to add additional display. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review. 5

[3.36 Watt] I bought this two years ago and have had zero problems with it. I hooked up the USB power cord to an extension cable to give me ample room. It takes two DisplayPort monitors and daisy chains the signal so it can go into a single DP connection. 5

[1.3 lb] Unlike many KVMs, this thing actually does what it says it can. I'm running two 4K monitors at 60Hz with absolutely no stability issues between a Mac and an Ubuntu machine. Will definitely go for another ATEN box if my needs change. 5

[3.36 Watt] I have this switch set up to allow me to switch between a Retina MacBook Pro and my tower gaming PC with Nvidia GTX 1070 graphics card, and it performs the job very well. Previously I had a similar setup using an IOGear DVI+USB KVM switch between MacBook Pro and my older tower PC, with just a DVI-to-DisplayPort adapter on the video cable to the Mac. For the new setup I bought a DisplayPort-to-mini-DisplayPort cable for the Mac (could have used an adapter but the cable was $10 and it's less... lumpy... this way.) I've only been using it for a week or so, but it's working great! Comes with all cables, which seem to be solid quality, and fully bus-powered - small and light but seems well made. The older IOGear DVI+USB2 switch wasn't as expensive as this when it was new, but I guess that's the price I pay for going 4K. I did my usual research on all available DisplayPort + USB switch options before selecting this one, and I'm pretty sure I made the right choice here. If you're trying to drive a 2K or 4K monitor from two DisplayPort-equipped machines and share a mouse and keyboard between them, this is the ticket. 5

[3.2 in] I have used Aten KVMs for years. Whenever I am looking for one for another purpose or to match upgraded equipment, I always end up buying another Aten. This KVM doesn't disappoint. Are you stuck working from home? Do you have a sweet home computer with multiple DisplayPort monitors? Do you want to be able to use that same setup with a work computer or laptop? If you answered yes to those questions, this is the KVM for you. I bought this for my wife so she can use her dual monitor setup with work and home computers. She love s it. I have the 4 port version for myself, since I have a couple other computers to manage. Simply put, these KVMs just work. 5

[11.64 oz] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this DisplayPort for my home office, which has two large monitors. It has worked perfectly to enable me to "Extend" the display from my desktop (from its Display Port) to the HDMI connections to both monitors -- I can seamlessly maneuver between both monitors as if they are one big screen. Very useful and could not find this item anywhere else online! 5
