A: This camera is waterproof without a housing up to 33 feet however the touch screen is not therefore if you want to use the touch screen while skiing you will need to use the waterproof housing. Keep in mind it is possible to use the camera without the touchscreen attached in which case the waterproof housing is not necessary.
