[0.1 lb] After six months of working remotely, I finally decided that using cameras imbedded in devices for video conferencing was n't optimal long-term. While it may be nice occasionally to pick up and move around, the look just wasn't professional. After looking at all the available options ( and there are a lot, not necessarily in stock), this item stood out for it's quality and elegance. I wasn't disappointed. It literally is plug-and-play (Windows 10 on an HP desktop). It's worked flawlessly with every video conferencing and messaging platform I've tried (Teams, WebEx, GoToMeeting, Google Meet, Zoom, Facebook Messenger, Skype for Business, Signal). The remote is handy and intuitive, although some remote functionality is apparently only available using the dedicated video conferencing hub). Overall a great addition to my remote office.

She teaches at the Fashion Institute of technology and needed a better web camera for her online teaching of haute couture sewing techniques and assesories classes that became necessary during the Covid 19 pandemic. The zoom feature is wonderful for going in and out for more details as well as for zooming out widely for demonstrations with a manakin. The wide angle is very useful as she can show her hands when working with the fabric. It is perfect! It may be a conference camera but works very well for step-by-step instructions.

[35.4" / 90.0 cm] Wonderful quality camera! It took me a minute to figure out how to get the HDMI turned on, it is disabled by default. But once I got it set up, I was very impressed with the quality. It is hard to find a good HDMI camera for web meetings and this one is great! As a sidenote, I thought that I might have needed the Avaya equipment for this to work with, but it works fine as a standalone camera.

[35.4" / 90.0 cm] We have used logitec cameras up till now but as these were unavailable I ordered this one. Picture is great, the remote to maneuver the camera angles is really convenient. Only thing I didn't expect was that it's large relative to the logitech (3x the size) and heavy. Would be hard to have on a lightweight laptop or tablet.

[35.4" / 90.0 cm] Great upgrade for conference calls. Need good lighting, but really nice image. A couple things to note, which aren't immediately obvious about the HDMI output, the cam still needs powered by the USB. And, you have to enable the HDMI input in the menu with the remote. Pretty easy setup.

[0.1 lb] It worked with my iMac. My 2014 Mac has a usb 3.0 bus which the Avaya says it prefers over a 2.0 for full powering. There is no Avaya app; you don't need one because the included remote control does all the zooming and panning. 3rd party Zoom teleconference application software saw it as a camera and a mic. Easy peasy. So ignore all the stuff about checking for a firmware update and needing Windows to do that! I have not tried the Avaya as a HDMI input on my BMD Atem mini yet. I don't really need it for that. I needed it to replace the poor built in camera in my older Mac.

[35.4" / 90.0 cm] I bought this camera after going through tons of webcams and expensive mirrorless cameras, then once I saw how good it was I bought another. This is the best main cam for my desk I've found because of how wide the lens is and it has HDMI output for uncompressed 4K NV12 video and 1080p YUY2. You really notice the MJPEG compress when you digitally zoom in.

The widest rectilinear lens you'll find for the APSC mirrorless cameras is the Loawa 9mm, which is only 113 degrees FoV and costs $500 new. The wider the FoV the more of my chest you can see when you put me on the left or right third of the screen. This webcam is GoPro quality with a rectilinear lens and 4k@30 on the HDMI so it's perfect for my news shows Top RSS News and RSS Commentary, and Cooking with Cale STEM green screen live coding (KabukiPress Cookbook, Greentech Cookbook, AStartup Cookbook, Starship Cookbook, Infinite Simulations Cookbook).

The MJPEG over USB was looking good, but it had too much latency. The latency via the HDMI is not as low as Sony or GoPro, but it's not too bad on the cut.
