[2nd year] This is hands down the best entry level scanner on the market the amount of detail it can capture is unreal.

[2nd year] Took very little time to learn how to use the scanner and software, amazing life like scans and color.

[2nd year] There's still a bit of a learning curve, but the software and hardware for this is way better than the competitive offerings in this price range. This can be fiddly to say the least when trying to scan small objects, but I still found it easier than the Mole 3D scanner even for small things. For medium to large objects, this has been a joy to use. Some drawbacks: needs a connection to a power supply and constant connection to a fairly powerful PC with Nvidia GPU. Recommend 32GB or more of RAM.

[2nd year] New lenses are expensive, and I don't want to shell out for an unexpected repair after the warranty expires, or worse yet, have to replace it because of an accidental drop or damage. That peace of mind is what makes this type of warranty worth it. I know that for three years I'm good. Expensive, but worth it.

[2nd year] One of the reason why I purchased the K-70 from B&H was the availability to purchase the Pentax extended warranty (extends it to 3 years) at a reasonable price. B&H has an excellent reputation and being able to purchase the extended Pentax warranty was icing on the cake.

[2nd year] The Sony Factory Extended Warranties are an excellent addition to any new VTR or camera purchase. There are no difficult third party hoops to jump through or requirements to satisfy. You simply register the item and the warranty online, and submit a copy of the receipt and warranty with the unit when it's sent in for factory service instead of submitting payment information. All other aspects of the factory repairs remain the same, except that the end user doesn't pay for them! I would highly recommend this purchase to anyone buying new Sony products.

[2nd year] As my old Pentax cameras have lasted forever and are built like tanks I am not expecting to need this warranty but I purchased it because of the reasonable price and length of the warranty ($50 and for 2 years after the Pentax warranty ends).

[2nd year] I haven't had to use the extended warranty or damage protection yet (knock on wood) but I feel confident having it. I was able to create an online Sony portal to refer back to my coverage and get relevant information. It was easy to set up and at a great price.

[2nd year] A sudden gust of wind blew over my tripod and sent my last camera, only 1 year old, crashing to the ground rendering it inoperable. Unfortunately it is too costly to fix nor do I have any insurance on it. It's not only the cost of the camera that I lost but also the investment in time getting to know my camera. In my opinion, it's well worth it to protect my investment.
