Q: 1. Would the Schneider 94-251062 ring be and equivalent to the lee ring..Would it be compatible with a lee filter holder? Thanks

A: The Schneider 62mm adapter ring is the equivalent size, however it will only be compatible with Schneider filter holders. The Lee Filters adapter ring will be compatible with a Lee filter holder.

Q: 2. It's a little tough to tell in the pictures. Is this ring threaded on the inside of the rim so that I could screw in a filter?

A: According to the manufacturer, the Urth Adapter Ring for Magnetic Lens Filters (52mm) have a magnetic front threading. They are designed to be used with magnetic filters of the same size. However, they do state that if you are looking to use a magnetic filter and a screw mount filter at the same time, you may certainly do so. You may stack magnetic filters and screw-on filters. All our filters are double-threaded, which means they have back and front threads so you can stack filters of the same thread size. Just make sure to put the screw on filter first, followed by the magnetic adapter ring (or the magnetic UV filter), and then the magnetic filter you want to use. However, stacking too many filters together can cause vignetting so we would not recommend stacking more than two filters together.

Q: 3. I have both 55 mm and 67 mm lenses. I would like to be able to use 67 mm filter on 55 mm lens?

A: The Freewell 55mm Step-Up Adapter Ring for V2 Magnetic Filters allows you to put filters larger then 55mm on a 55mm lens.

Q: 4. Can the adapter rings for LEE85 system be used with the LEE Seven5 system (already expired) ?

A: Unfortunately no, the Lee Seven5 holder will not fit the 85mm adapter.

Q: 5. Would a LEE Filters Seven5 Filter Holder fit on this adapter ring? (I know it is built for the 85 system)

A: This Lee Adapter Ring is only for the 85 System and would not fit the Seven5 Holder.

Q: 6. The mattebox coming with French Flag?

A: This comes with what Genustech calls a wide angle rayshade. This is the top sunshade you see in the picture. In the pro movie production world, a French Flag is a flag on an articulated arm. In the retail world, I find manufacturer's and dealers often misuse the term.

Q: 7. Cn I use this on Leica e60 lens?

A: Yes, you can use the LEE Filters 60mm Adapter Ring for Foundation Kit on a Leica lens that has a 60mm filter thread. The adapter ring is designed to work with the LEE Filters Foundation Kit (BH #LEFK).

Q: 8. Is this wide angle adapter ring compatible with the Seven5 filter system? I'm looking to add this to the front of a 12-40mm lens and I 'm concerned with vignetting from the standard adapter ring.

A: 12-14mm it been consider a ultra-wide angle lens yes you will get vignette if you form 20mm and up it ok. but for more info I recommend you to lee web click on camera scroll down to Lee Match system click on the button Good look Jose.

Q: 9. how big is the Outer diameter of this ring?does it fit for an bava folter holder?

A: The Cokin adapters are specifically designed to only work on their filter holders and that one is for the Z-Pro holder, http://bhpho.to/1gwpwDr

Q: 10. I have a Nikon D5300 with a 52mm lens. Does the adapter ring go on my lens and then the filter holder is attached to the ring? How is the polarizer attached to the filter holder, is it magnetic or does it go in a slot?

A: Yes, the LEE Filters 52mm Wide-Angle Lens Adapter Ring for 100mm System Filter Holder, B&H # LEARWA52, included in the above LEE Filters 52mm Wide-Angle Adapter Ring with LEE100 Filter Holder would screw into the 52mm filter threads on the front of your lens. The filter holder would then attach to the filter ring. The LEE Filters LEE100 Polarizer Filter, B&H # LE100PL, would be a polarizer filter that snaps directly onto a LEE100 Filter Holder's guide blocks without occupying a filter slot. As an alternative, the LEE Filters 105mm Polarizer Ring for LEE100 Filter Holder, B&H # LE100PLR, is a snap-on adapter ring that allows you to use a polarizer filter with 105mm filter threads on the filter holder. https://bhpho.to/3ixgBNQ https://bhpho.to/3GRraET

[62 mm] I'm a beginner and it took me quite some time to bite the bullet and purchase a Lee filter system. I've had it a month now and I'm upset that it took me so long to make the jump! I absolutely love it! Worth every penny! Can't wait to pick up a few more rings for my other lenses!

[62 mm] I find these much more convenient than the plastic, spring loaded caps. they are a lot more expensive, but worth it in my estimation. I also use K&F concepts magnetic caps.

[62 mm] I use the Lee filter system and have one of these adapters for every lens filter diameter. I keep them in a multi-pouch holder that is sold to hold round filters. The adapter rings are robust, screw in and out easily, and hold the Lee filter system securely.

[62 mm] I upgraded from the Cokin P series/85 mm Lee Filters, to the Lee Foundation kit. These adapter rings are sturdy. The wide angle one is recessed so the filter is close to the lens.

[62 mm] I'm super into this. I use a lot of stepping rings, but I hate them. This makes my life easier and so I approve.

Minor downsides not worth it losing a star over:

1. Once you connect it, it's strong enough to hold the weight of the camera, BUT it still spins a bit, which can freak you out sometimes.
2. This thing is giant, it can't even fit in the same case as my 82mm filters. It does come with its own sleeve so that helps.

[62 mm] In using the LEE Filter adapter for 4 x 4 filters, this adapter allowed me to turn the Panasonic DMC FZ1000 into a more versatile camera in bright sunlight, shooting waterfalls, and long exposures.
