This combination of polymers was developed to allow those who use Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) 3D printers to print parts from durable prostheses to complete and wearable cosplay outfits, as well as cell phone enclosures and flexible utility/industrial parts. The flexibility of PCTPE means that the end parts will have the smooth texture of nylon and the flexibility offered by a rubber such as TPE, yet retain high levels of durability and other non-delaminating benefits.

[2.85 mm] After spending a great deal of time with the original mini in an educational environment, I decided to order my own mini 2. Great print quality, a breeze to use, and nearly silent operation!

[Green] No more wasted time & filament. I ordered the Lulzbot filament Runout sensor and installed it on the Lulzbot Taz 6. The install was fairly simple. I have the filament mounted on the top not the side, so I had to print a new adapter to attach it to the top of the frame. I wired it up, fired it up and it worked great. No more wasted filament or stressing if I was going to run out before the print is done!

[Green] After using the stock “blue” filament, this is a game changer! I’m able to print parts for our company trucks and not need to paint them so they don’t stick out like a sore thumb! Great stuff!

[2.85 mm] Handled everything I threw at it. Quick startup. Printed in sla and ngen so far. Multiple colors. Swapping filaments took a little experimenting. Found it best if you cut filament at 45 degree angle before attempting to feed new spool into head. Very quiet.

[1.3 lb] I was able to print the rocktopus after calling tech support, as this is my first printer. One disappointing point was that you DO need a computer, just not all the time. The computer is needed for startup, and later for upgrading the machine and several manual controls. Its nice you can print using the SDRAM card, since Windows will reboot at some time during the day if it needs to, even if you are half way through a print. I also need to get a UPS to protect the machine during a print. Very good tech support, but I wish they had let a noob use the guide to clarify steps the builders know so well they dont write it down. Still, it is working, its very quiet and I made a model!
