[2.1 lb] I was a little nervous ordering this as B&H says "This item is nonreturnable", but it is everything promised.� Took me about a half hour (with distractions) to assemble the first time on set, using the instructional video on Vimeo.� Have to say though, for people who can invent such a well-designed product, the lack of included instructions is puzzling. Anyway, the interview we used this for went flawlessly and both myself and the interviewee quickly�got used to looking at each other through the mirror.�� Compared to the old way of setting up 2 prompters, this is easier and better. 5

[2.1 lb] The team and I fell in love with this product as it was instrumental for our talent sitting infront of the camera A to maintain train of thought and appear naturally speaking directly into the camera and to the audience! the hard case that it came in feels overkill and takes up too much room. 5

[2.1 lb] SKB cases are quality made no question. The Eye direct is well protected and in fact if there was a smaller case version ( because we are always fighting size and weight when traveling) I would have selected that one. I have fit it into a smaller case that I used my own padding with, traveled across the globe and it was fine but I do rent the eye direct out to my friends and felt the added protection is good in that respect. If u ya our hopping on planes it’s worth the investment for sure. 5

[2.1 lb] We're able to use this when we conduct interviews in which we want the subject to communicate directly to the viewer/audience. Also works well with any sort of teleprompter-type set-up. We use DuetAir to connect the laptop to our iPad and then run Teleprompter+ app running script. Works great. 5

[2.1 lb] Well built face to face beam splitter, great for getting your subjects to talk and look right down the lens. NOTE: you do need a light to shine on the interviewer in dimmer situations. Doubles nicely as a teleprompter. 5

[2.1 lb] I bought this in the UK and it arrived faster than it would have through a UK service - impressive. I've used EyeDirects on quite a few shoots and often find I can't get them for a reasonable price when renting. This is an elegant solution to that space in the market. Instructions could be far far clearer. There is a video you can follow online that will get you through, but marking up the pieces would have been appreciated. I wish then when constructed you could fold it into a square for transportation. V2 perhaps. As it is, you really have to take it completely apart to travel with it, otherwise, like its big brother, It is an awkward shape and size; about 45cm x 23cm x 20cm. However - that's not me complaining, I just wish it had that extra element of portability when constructed. For the price, speed of delivery, ability to break it down into a laptop case (which is included) and being a unique solution to a very common problem - 5 stars. 5
