The Zyxel NSG50 can be easily deployed at a remote location through nearly zero-touch cloud provisioning. It automatically pulls policies and configuration settings, and receives seamless

firmware upgrades and security signature updates from the cloud without the need for on-site networking expertise.

Traditional gateways require administrators to perform configuration and to manage security policies on each device one by one which costs considerable time and effort. The Zyxel Nebula provides a single point of management to all the Nebula gateways for administrators to synchronize security settings across thousands of sites to every device all at once. The cloud interface provides site-wide visibility and control that enable administrators to manage event logs, traffic statistics, bandwidth consumption, networked clients, and application usage without access to the individual devices.

Establish a VPN to keep branch locations securely connected. With the Zyxel Nebula Security Gateway, either site-to-site or hub-and-spoke VPN connections can be

configured with complete simplicity through few clicks in the Nebula Control Center, without complex VPN configuration steps. The intuitive cloud management interface gives administrators

a real-time view to monitor VPN connectivity between multiple locations.

The Zyxel Nebula Security Gateway streamlines configuration of your firewall and security features for faster, easier, and more consistent policy settings by supporting object-based

management and a unified configuration. Moreover, any configuration made in the Nebula Control Center can automatically propagate to all the connected Nebula gateways.

Nebula's IDP (Intrusion Detection and Prevention) system scans multiple layers and protocols to inspect vulnerabilities invisible to simple port- and protocol-based firewalls by utilizing Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) technology that eliminates false positives with a database of malware signatures and provides effective protection against intrusion from unknown back doors.

The Zyxel Nebula Security Gateway supports Application Patrol, which can identify, categorize, and control social, gaming, productivity, and other Web applications and behaviors. Users

can block undesirable applications to boost productivity and prevent bandwidth abuse.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this filter work with the Vaonis Vespera II ?

A: The Vaonis Vespera II Observation Station does not use eyepieces and therefore cannot use an eyepiece filter.

Q: 2. How do you purchase the Optional Meraki Go Security Subscription?

A: You can purchase the Security Subscription for the Cisco Meraki Go GX50 Firewall Plus 5-Port Router & Security Gateway at this link: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1679591-REG/cisco_lic_gx_umb_1y_1_year_security_subscription_for.html?sts=pi

Q: 3. Is this a world (international) version? I want to make sure that this model isn't locked for US only...

A: There is no indication that the Ubiquiti Networks Gateway Max can only be used in the US. You'd just need to adapt the plug to whatever is used in your location.

Q: 4. Is it possible to switch the multiple RTMP input streams cleanly on the output as to act like a video switcher as well?

A: The Kiloview MG300 IP Video Media Gateway will support up to 16 channels that you can switch between.

Q: 5. Will this work with a gigabit network (automatically sense the 1GB speed and adapt)?

A: The Ubiquiti Networks Gateway Max has five 2.5 Gb/s Ethernet ports, so it would work with a Gigabit Ethernet network.

Q: 6. Will this product work with any lighting console or does it require the ONYX software?

A: All NETRON nodes work for any console, they are not specific to ONYX. NETRON nodes use sACN and Art-Net, which is supported by almost every lighting control system.

Q: 7. Will this be a good filter to view the Lagoon Nebula?

A: Ask this question at cloudynights website it's a com address

Q: 8. Will this filter work with the Celestron Astromaster 130?

A: Yes, the AstroMaster 130EQ uses 1.25" eyepieces, so the 1.25" Oxygen III Narrowband filter will work.

Q: 9. Can you use this the same as a light pollution filter?

A: Light pollution filters and OIII filters pass different spectra and are used for different purposes. OIII are good for specific objects that emit in the OIII spectrum strongly, such as some nebula (veil, crab) and especially planetary nebula (dumbbell, ring). LPR filters are designed to filter light pollution - mostly sodium vapor light and are good for increasing contrast across a broader range of objects.

Q: 10. can this filter be used to view the flame and horse head nebula too and does it help viewing galaxies..??

A: So we really do not recommend using this filter for this purpose. It is more for Imaging, and it will reduce what you are seeing. I honestly don't recommend using a filter at all with looking at what you are going to view. However if you did want to get a filter then I would go with the Celestron UHC (Ultra High Contrast) LPR Filter (1.25 ) - Reduces Transmission of Wavelengths of Artificially-Produced Light. [44,000 hours] Once I got used to the ubiquity software, it was fairly easy to set up and it's doing what it's supposed to do. Between this device and the access point I bought earlier, I was able to remove my all-in-one Asus Wi-Fi router.

So glad I purchased this upgrade.

Wish I had done it sooner.
It was very easy to setup basically plug and play.

[44,000 hours] Been waiting for this device for a long time. Even has 2.5 GB on the WAN port. Has the controller embedded - does what it says it does. super well built and easy to install and migrate to as always.

[44,000 hours] Upgraded from Ubiquiti USG-3P that was end of life and suffering ethernet port failure from lightning power surges and/or age. The UXG-Max is much faster in line speed and general processing for IDS packet inspection. I turned all the fancy IDS features off on the USG so it is nice to get that information and features for my network. The new UXG max runs much cooler and is barely warm to the touch compared to the USG which was cooktop hot.

[44,000 hours] This router works well with other Ubiquity Unifi devices including managed switches, wireless access points and network extenders. This router is fast.

The self hosted server app works well on a Windows 10 pc.

What isn't clear from the product description or BHP tech support is that the 2.5 GB ports adapt to 1 GB connections and that this router can replace an older Ubiquity UniFi router by plug and play. All that is needed, is to replace the new router on the gateway connection and adopt the device. Once you adopt the new router you get a message saying you can't have 2 gateways. Then just go and forget/remove the old gateway router from the app and re-adopt the new gateway router. Give it a bit of time and all the settings will be automatically applied to the new router.

I have a xfinity cable modem, UniFi gateway router, 2 UniFi 8 port managed switched, 1 UniFi WAP, 2 UniFi Beacon wireless network extenders and about 50 network devices managed with a fixed ip setup.

My only complaint is that nobody at BHP or Ubiquity could give me a straight answer on upgrading the router.
