A: It may be discontinued by SKB you can go to the SKB website and lookup the SKB iseries 1711-6 and see if they sell that model with a lid organizer maybe B&H does not stock it. I can say that I bought the SKB iseries 2011-8 with lid organizer from B&H and love it! I think that the 1711-6 for me would be just a little to small. Also you get that the model number is actually the dimensions? So for example 17 x11 x6 go with the 2011-8 you will be happier!

A: Hi Jay, Up to a 15 Macbook Pro or similar sized 15 laptop will fit into the case. That being said a 15 will be pretty snug and does not provide a lot of protection where the strap holds the laptop into position. An image can be seen on Think Tank's website with a 15 Macbook Pro to give you an idea. If you own a 15 laptop and need it more protected the 3i-2011-7DL would be a much better fit. Thank you,Will
