The Da-Lite 84772 Ascender Motorized Projection Screenis an interesting and functional option for venues where a ceiling mounted screen is not viable.

This unique screen can be recessed into the floor and with the flip of a switch rise to comfortable viewing height. If you prefer not to recess the screen into the floor, the Ascender can be mounted within an attractive case. The concealed approach to this screen makes it appealing to people who are limited by space and need a screen which can be hidden when not required.

A: The power cord is on the left side of the screen and Yes, the screen should be able to be programmed to a universal remote. You may need to use the included remote to teach the universal the IR code.

[527 lb] great value, I looked all over for a large screen for a decent price and landed on this one. It had a little tag that said it self-retracts slowly and it doesn't but that was not a feature I was counting on anyway, it has a string to help it retract cautiously. would definitely recommend this one if you want a big screen on a budget! Takes 2+ people to mount, its pretty heavy when you're on a ladder! 5

[120VAC, 60Hz] We use the screen in our church sanctuary once or twice a month. Installing it was an adventure with the weight and length, but several sections of scaffolding and a couple friends made the install move along nicely. The instructions for wiring were right on and it worked first try! The image is right on and visible the entire length of our viewing area (over 100'). 5

[527 lb] We used the screen at our annual and special town meeting and found that it was better than anticipated. the powerpoints were projected so all could see no matter where they sat at our meeting. I couldn't be happier and worth the price. 5
