This Ubiquiti UF-Nano UFiber GPON Unit | Gigabit Networkfrom Ubiquiti UF-Nano UFiber GPON Unit | Gigabit Networklets you share a high-speed Fiber connection with Gigabit-enabled devices. The UF-Nano comes equipped with a single GPON port and a single Gigabit Ethernet port, as well as a digital LED display, making it easy to view the status of the connection. Additionally, this GPON device supports downstream data rates of up to 2.488 Gbps and upstream data rates of up to 1.244 Gbps as well as 1490 nm downstream and 1310 nm upstream wavelengths. [1.075 lb] I used this to mount a UI Active fiber media converter outside my house to run fiber to my garage. I had ethernet already outside so it was easy to connect the ethernet with POE and run a fiber line. Seems to seal well against water. It looks good and was easy to install. 5

[1.075 lb] I needed to deploy some cameras to a separate wing of my building where I did not have additional power drops. Since I have a central switch that provides POE++, this was a no-brainer switch to install in a crawlspace to add extra POE ports. The switch was detected quickly by my Unify DMSE and has been flawless 5

[128 MB DDR3] I purchased this switch to supply connectivity to an AP and 3 - IP security cameras in a detached garage. This 5 port switch is outdoor in its temp handling range. However it does need to be installed in a weatherproof enclosure or inside a building (with or without climate control.) It DOES NOT have stand alone power, but instead supplies POE power tto itself and downstream devices by being powered by POE into port 1. This means you need to power this with a POE switch or POE injector upstream. It can be powered by 802.3af or at POE, but for any practical install (meaning powering devices downstream of the switch) it needs fed with a 60W 802.3bt POE supply. I'm using a TP-Link 60W POE injector and this works without issue. The switch itself is a full feature Unifi switch. Configured and controlled via a Unifi controller (Cloud Key) it can be setup by a user with intermediate knowledge of networking. Ports feature full VLAN support and control. For my use case, I needed to power an access point and 3 wired cameras. The FLEX is tailor made for this. Port 1 is power in an a trunk port. Port 2 is a second trunk feeding and powering a Unifi 6 Pro AP. Ports 3, 4, and 5 are set to a camera VLAN as well as supplying power. It does get warm to the touch. It passes full line rate speeds. For those already in the Unifi ecosystem and in need of switch for hi/low temp environments, this switch is a good option. I'll update if anything changes or if there are any issues. 5

[3.88 oz / 110 g] I needed this for an outdoor install of a uFiber Nano device. I already had a CAT5e cable running outside and didn't feel like having my ISP crawling in my attic to run a new fiber drop. Price was right, and it fits the UF-Nano perfectly. Seems to have a good seal all around that should keep it nice and dry. It also came with a handy mounting template with built-in level which was nice. Overall, very happy with the product. 5
