[V-Mount] Even though it seems to be of a design that may fail, I have used it non-stop for two years of Production Sound for double system film sound recording and it has worked perfectly. I actually bought two of them in case one failed, but so far I have only used one. It is much better than the one made by Sound Devices, because it has a lower profile when fitted with an XL-B3 battery pack. A professional will pay attention to what they are doing when inserting and removing this, and will never have problems!

[V-Mount] Exactly what I expected and needed. Works perfect to translate V-mount to Gold-mount.

[6.4 x 4.4 x 2"] This adapter could be sold by dozens if it was better marketed. It is a fantastic idea for anyone with on set monitors (focus pullers, camera ops, video village) . Worth EVERY penny. Hot swap is the bomb.

[6.4 x 4.4 x 2"] The MovCam VCT Cage is well made and fits the F5/F55 precisely. Being the owner of several tripods with VCt 14 plates it makes for quick secure changes from one release plate to another. The protective module for the viewfinder connection is another smart feature..Flexibility in mounting accessories is another great characteristic of the product. It generally does everything it's supposed to well.

[V-Mount] Most people will find this useful for a RED Epic or dragon, since most of those are set up with V mount batteries. It's cool to when using the f5 or f55 because you can get away from using the proprietary Sony battery system. Being a first Ac and Steadicam operator, I find that Gold mount batteries such as the anton/bauer line lock in better. To each their own, but here are some of the benefits I found: You pick up some extra DTaP ports to plug in more accessories with this adapter, and it will also extend the battery out from the camera about an inch which can help to better balance the rig front to back.

[6.4 x 4.4 x 2"] Its a good and versatile slot receiver bucket tha will allow a quick add to my camera to expand its ability to receive more freqs.

[V-Mount] Installing this cable protector has meant I no longer worry about the possibility of cable snapping the connector off whilst attached to the camera. Safe and sound now both in the case and on set.

[Mounting Holes] Honestly I just got it and I'm positively shocked at what a great idea this type of rigging is and how well it seeems to take weight. I've got Hytron batteries on it which are INCREDIBLY heavy and while I wouldn't recommend doing it too much just knowing it can take it in a pinch is great. Great build quality. A idea, A execution
