The RRS Base Plate for Canon EOS 6D Mark IIfrom RRS Base Plate for Canon EOS 6D Mark IIis designed with anti-twist flanges to keep the camera from twisting while mounted on the plate. Once the dovetail plate is on, quick release functionality has been added to the camera. Also, this base plate is compatible with all Really Right Stuff clamps and most other Arca-type compatible heads.

The CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum plate maintains complete access to the battery door, and the plate has an option for an available L-component that will fit the plate's modular design and make a custom-fit L-plate. Furthermore, the base plate has a durable Type II anodized finish, and the plate has a laser-engraved center mark on the back to align it on a tripod head. Plus, there is an additional QD socket on the plate for the Quick Disconnect strap system, and a 5/32" hex key is included.

A: When using the Canon BG-E20 Battery Grip for EOS 5D Mark IV, one should either use 2 original Canon LP-E6(N) batteries or 2 LP-E6 third party batteries together. When one mixes the original Canon batteries with third party ones, the grip will not function properly.

[0.195 lb] Love this. Whenever I had a heavy lens attached my camera would twist on the tripod. This stops that & as an added bonus it has a separate spot yo connect my peak design strap. 5

[QD] I had resisted buying an L bracket because I thought they looked bulkly and dorky. Saw a review of gadgets by a photographer I know and respect and now wonder why I waited so long. No more dangling camera body, attempting to make sure that I am in perfect portrait alignment. 5

[0.195 lb] I searched around for several options, with very very few specifically made for the Canon 70D. Fits great, does not interfere with the articulating screen and provides access to the side ports (mic, trigger, HDMI, A/V out). 5

[QD] Arrived on time in well protected box. Well made and fit my 6dmii like a glove. Can be attached tight to the camera or slid out about a inch for a smooth and tight secure fit. All of the ports were well accessed. Works well with my Lefoto L40 head. I would definitely recommend it for the Canon 6Dmii. 5
