A: Unfortunately, the 8" arm of the ALZO 1236 is not adjustable, but you will have access to alternate the ball head position.

Q: 2. If there was music playing, like at a concert, would the camera shake? Or does that depend on the weight of the camera?

A: That will depends on the quality of wall the ALZO Wall Camera Mount with Ball Head is attached to. If your walls are vibrating, the camera mount will pick up the vibration and will then appear on your cameras recording.

Q: 3. Is the arm a 5/8 rod? How long is it? Can it be removed and re-attached from the base plate?

A: I will have to measure it. They are used to hold professional Sony video cameras in our church. The rod can be removed and re-attached. They are approximately 8 inches without me measuring. Excellent product very heavy duty which we needed for video camera and pan/tilt device under it.

Q: 4. Does the arm move from the plate. I would need to move the arm flat against the plate, then have the camera form an L with arm?

A: Unfortunately no. The ALZO Wall Camera Mount with Ball Head will include a static 8" arm.

Q: 5. Are there any 2280 NVMe SSDs that are not compatible with the shuttle?

A: The OWC U2 Shuttle would not be recommended for use with drives that have integrated heatsinks.

[Wall mountable] I absolutely love this shuttle. It has so many potential uses. I made the move to a Mac Studio a while back and found I had data storage issues. I was using all kinds of external SSD drives and such as well as an OWC Mercury Rack, which was just for backing up to as the USB 3 interface was not fast enough. I installed four 4TB silicon Power 4TB PCIe 4.0 SSD memory modules into the U2 and then installed the U2 Shuttle into the first slot of an OWC Flex 8 Thunderbay. I tied these 4 modules together into a RAID array which gives me a lightning fast 16TB drive. My application is audio and video editing and VFX and have to say.... WOW. This thing is lightning fast.I am very impressed with this shuttle and would highly recommend it. I'm thinking I will grab a few more of these for on set media card transfer and backup purposes. [Wall mountable] We mounted BlackMagic Design Micro Studio G2 Cameras with long lenses and it balanced well with sturdiness. If you are mounting the bracket to a stud behind sheet rock—be advised that the 4 mounting holes may be too wide and limit you to using only two holes upper and lower. 5

[Wall mountable] I bought some inexpensive PTZ Cameras from China and I threw away the included mounts. These work great for the price and I put some additional velcro tape between the camera and mount for insurance. 5
