Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will the medium rain sleeve work with a Nikon d 610 and a long tank like 80 to 200d?

A: I've used this raincoat on my D750 with a 70-200mm lens to shoot football games in the rain. Once I got used to working with the cover and my hands inside for focusing and shooting I had no issues and the camera and lens stayed nice and dry.

Q: 2. Would it fit a Lumix GH5 and a 70-200 kit lens?

A: It will fit.

Q: 3. Will this interfere with my Auto focus? It seems cinching something around the lens hood would prevent the lens (Canon EF 75-300 USM with dedicated lens hood) for properly auto-focusing. I want to use this to shoot wildlife at a feeder from a tripod using a wireless remote.

A: No, the LensCoat RainCoat RS does not impair or prohibit autofocus capability.

Q: 4. Is it useful for a Nikon D7100 with a Sigma 17-50 and a Nikon 70-300 VR?

A: Yes you can use it for both configurations but of course when using it with the 17-50mm, it will droop over more but will still be usable.

Q: 5. Looking for a rain cover for a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV & Tamron lens 28mm- 300mm? Will this LensCoat medium sleeve work?

A: Yes, the LensCoat RainCoat Medium Sleeve can work with your current lens and camera combination.

Q: 6. I'm trying to decide which style of camera rain coat I should buy. Has anyone who has used this model ever wished it had either the clear plastic back with an eyepiece that some do or the kind with sleeves to reach through?

A: I bought the above rain coat without the clear back for several reasons. First I want to easily get to the dials and buttons on top of the camera. Second, I wanted to have a sleeve that I could adjust and use on my cameras with lenses from the 17-40 to the 100-400 mm. With the ability to loosen the front and back and adjust for whatever lens I had on the camera. It worked great on a trip the coast of Washington which included The Olympic rain forest where I had the sleeve on my camera the entire time. It also fit on my 7D mark II and 1D mark III cameras. Q: 7. Does it work for a Sigma 150-600?

A: No, this one will be to small, you will need the size large: https://bhpho.to/2zrIDlW

Q: 8. What material is it made from?

A: It appears to be nylon or a similar synthetic fabric

Q: 9. Can this sleeve also be used for shorter lenses like a 50mm 1.2L on a 5DM2?

A: I am not sure of the overall length of the set up you are describing. However, this system is very flexible. You will note that it has a drawsting on the lens end. This can be drawn down onto just about any lens. The rest is just velcro and fabric. Should work.

Q: 10. Will this work with a fully extended Nikon 18-300mm lens with hood on a Nikon D7000? Or with a Nikon F4 70-200mm and a D7000?

A: It works with fully-extended 18-300 on a D810

[Camouflage] I am using the size M RainCoat on a Canon R5 with RF 100-500 mm zoom. The rain coat fits the body and lens nicely, goes on and off easily, and readily accommodates my need to access the controls on the body and to change the zoom on the lens, which changes the shape and size of the unit significantly. So far, I'm very satisfied.
Admittedly, I have not tried it with a 1.4X tele-extender or tripod yet, however.

[Empty] Good quality product provides protection for your camera when you need it. Folds up fairly small and fits in your camera bag or pocket.

[0.27 lb] No, it doesn't rain that much in Arizona, but it can sure get dusty...and hot. Choose the AP Snow to reflect as much of the sun as possible. As far as dust? Well water is finer than dust and it keeps out both. And, the northern California coast isn't that far away and that's where the raincoat got it's first use. No dust but lots of rain in the Redwood parks. Worked great, easy on, easy off, drys quickly. So, water or dust, my gear is protected. Finally B&H service as always is impeccable. Decided to order on a whim on Tuesday, leaving on Friday. Got two day expedited delivery, arrived on Thursday, left for the coast on Friday. All Good. Well worth the investment. Only complaint is it doesn't fold as small as my previous rain covering, but is much sturdier. I'll accept that trade off.

[Empty] I have not used this yet but it fits the camera nicely. I have used the plastic version and it was awkward to use. This gives me plenty of room in the back to see my screen while still having it covered.

[Empty] I love raincoat products. They seem well thought out and the materials are of high quality (although at first I thought they were a little flimsy) and have withstood my stress tests. I like the different appearance options and I have both camo and navy items.
