The Realtree Max5 LensCoat Xpandable 3x Long Lens Bag Realtree Max5from LensCoat Xpandable 3x Long Lens Bag Realtree Max5holds a DSLR with an attached long telephoto lens, such as up to a 500mm f/4, and a teleconverter inside a triple expandable main compartment. The bag expands between 19.75 to 23.5 to 27.75 inches and features removable reinforced insert panels to allow you to configure an optimal weight and support. Additionally, it folds nearly flat for packing and storage.

For your accessories there is a rear slip pocket with a touch-fastened tab closure, an expandable side mesh pocket for your water bottle, and a removable lid that features an exterior top zippered pocket. There is a side tripod attachment, and a detachable shoulder strap for carrying comfort. The shoulder strap can also be repurposed to secure the bag during transport. [4.85 lb] I needed a lens case to transport my Canon 600mm lens when traveling in the car. The back pack I bought for hiking with the lens and attached camera body was too large. This case in the fully collapsed condition is a perfect fit for the lens with the hood in the reverse position. The case middle length condition is for the lens with the lens hood in the forward position. I don't recommend this position because loads on the lens hood could break the hood (a $700 item). The case in the fully extended condition is for the lens with extended hood and camera attached. Again, I don't recommend this. This can cause unnecessary loads on the lens to camera flange. The safest car transport is for the lens only with the hood in the reverse position. The build quality of the bag is very good, which helps justify the stiff price. But it is worth it to protect a mega bucks lens. I am pleased with this bag, highly recommended. 5

[4.85 lb] This is universal webbing with plastic buckles that comes handy for holding tight any piece of equipment. I don't use it for lenses, I use it to attach tripod to several different camera bags and backpacks. 5
