The BOZ DIGITAL Gatey Watey is a frequency-specific gate plug-in designed to provide versatile attenuation of unwanted bleed. It's made for musicians, audio editors, and mix engineers in mobile rigs, recording studios, home setups, and live stage applications. Use it to tame problematic noise either when an instrument or vocal stops or in between parts of performances.

Wideband mode will operate like a traditional noise gate; it will attenuate all frequencies when the signal falls below the selectable threshold. Two frequency-specific modes allow you to reduce high or low frequencies when your signal drops below the threshold. The adjustable lookahead feature is optimized to preserve the attack of transients by detecting the audio before acting upon it. Use the range, attack, and release controls to contour the reduction amount and envelope.

All controls are neatly laid out in a single window, so you don’t have to dig through pages of parameters. Gatey Watey supports Audio Units, AAX, RTAS, VST2, and VST3 plug-in formats, and is compatible with Mac OS X and Windows.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What's the load capacity? Could I use this to attach 15 pound sand bags?

A: The Filmsticks Wire Gate Carabiners have a load capacity of three pounds. They cannot be used to attach a 15 pound sandbag.

Q: 2. I have 4 individual home theater seats. Should I use an advance or the mini for each seat?

A: The ButtKicker Advance Low Frequency Audio Transducer (B&H # BUBK44) would be a suitable option for more heavy duty seating. The right amplifier for this model would be the ButtKicker BKA-130-C Mini Power Amplifier for ButtKicker Transducers (B&H # BUBKA130C).

Q: 3. Thanks, what amp is recommended to drive the 4 buttkicker advance? Is there a way to separately control the intensity of each unit?

A: An amp of 75-400 W. To control separate units, you would have to use separate amps or at least an amp with 2 channels, so adjustments could be made separately. ButtKicker BK4-4 Specs Frequency Response 5 to 200 Hz Nominal Impedance 4 Ohms (inductive) Power Handling Minimum: 75 W Maximum: 400 W

Q: 4. The Audio Bandwidth is listed twice. In one place it states 40 Hz to 20 KHz, while in the other it states 70 Hz to 20 KHz. Which one is right?

A: There are separate specs for the receiver and mic/transmitter. The receiver's range is 40 Hz to 20 kHz and the mic/transmitter's range is 70 Hz to 20 kHz.

Q: 5. Does this transmitter work with the Lectrosonics IFBR1B Bodypack IFB Receiver (VHF: 174 to 216 MHz) ? I noticed the frequency range was slightly different so i want to be sure.

A: Yes, The Lectrosonics IFBR1B is compatible with IFBT4 transmitters, as long as there is frequency band overlap between the components

Q: 6. What's the size?

A: Approximate Dimensions: 4.25" x 2.5" /Gate Opening: 0.88")

Q: 7. is the neck mic good for Documentary (Interview) ?

A: The mic picks up very well for the person wearing it. A second mic would be needed for the interviewer.

Q: 8. Is the MPC II powered by bluetooth or usb? Or am I required to have a power source to power the device?

A: Hi, power choices are the included power adapter or the internal re-chargeable battery, not USB or bluetooth. Thank you for shopping at B&H!

Q: 9. The item description says the color is "Black" but they appear to be blue. Can someone please clarify the actual color?

A: The color of Shimoda Designs Accessory Webbing Straps with Gate Hooks is Blue Night. Is exactly the same color as display in the video. I will ask the B&H Web team to scan the page for errors. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Q: 10. Can the MPC II stream multiple tracks via USB into Ableton?

A: This is a stand-alone music producton workstation, but you can record into the MPC 2.0 software, and then exporting the files individually into Ableton. If you only have a few tracks, you can use the MPC 2.0 software as a plugin to Ableton.

[Download] Highly recommend these straps to secure anything to your pack.

Got these for use on my original Gura Gear bag that has similar straps that fall off when not in use. These have the clever "gate hooks" which keep these straps securely attached to the bag when not in use.

Also appreciate the clever clip design that locks the strap length do the straps do not change length before, during, or after being snapped together.

[1 User] I got this pedal to replace a rack unit with 2 gates on it. I shopped around and figured at the price, this was worth a shot. This little guy takes up minimal space and holds it's own against much higher priced pedals. Weather you use pedals or an amp with an fx loop this is my top pick for you.

[1 User] Had three old Panasonic 65 inch plasma TV's donated to an organization I volunteer for. There were two problems:
- Weight of the TV was about 180 pounds
- The TV had a mounting hole pattern that is no longer supported

This bracket fit the needs and worked perfectly. Attached to drywall with steel studs, used the accessory mounting kit. Bracket and mounting was very secure and supported the TV's perfectly.

I could have purchased these brackets directly from the manufacturer but they were more expensive that way.
