This Benro MoveOver8B Carbon Fiber Slider 23.6" with Caseincludes an aluminum slider carriage that runs on carbon fiber rails with 23.6" of actual carriage travel, and a soft carry case. The carriage features a flat mounting surface with a 3/8"-16 threaded mounting stud for mounting your flat base fluid head, and it features pre-tensioned roller bearings for a smooth glide. A built-in friction brake is controlled by a single knob, allowing you to adjust the friction on the slider, or even use it as a brake when the slider is level.

The slider features 18mm diameter carbon fiber rails and supports a total payload of up to 17.6 pounds. The slider can be mounted on a tripod or stands, or placed on a level surface. The built-in bubble level enables you to confirm that your slider is level. Each leg mounts onto the slider track ends via a rosette and can rotate throughout 360°, and each foot has approximately 4" of height adjustment for leveling. You can operate the slider on any angle from 0 to 90°, and you can even undersling the slider.

The adjustable legs can be moved throughout 360° of rotation. However, they are at their most supportive between 12 and 60°.

The track ends allow you to mount the slider on stands using the Baby pin slot. Each track end features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded mounting holes.

The slider can also be mounted directly onto a tripod using the 3/8"-16 or 1/4"-20 threaded mounting hole on the attached cheese plate.

The carriage has four 1/4"-20 threaded mounting holes for accessories.

A: Yes, the Benro Mammoth 3-Section Carbon Fiber Tripod does have a large base diameter of 75mm. If you are using the Benro GD3WH 3-way geared head it has a base diameter of 52mm. Since the tripod base is larger than the geared head, some knobs on the gear head may hit the tripod. The Benro GDHAD1 Tripod Spacer is a good option to use to make sure no knobs hit the tripod.

[35 x 9 x 3.5"] This slider is exactly what I was looking for. I do a mixture of real estate video, vlogging, and outdoor time lapses. This works perfectly for all of it, lightweight and sturdy. Make sure you have solid stands for each threaded stud on the ends, it works better supported that way, rather than from the center. 5

[Carbon Fiber] I use this product with the Syrp Genie. After looking at the magic carpet reviews I was afraid that weight would be an issue. I have had a Benro tripod for the last 5 years and its rock solid. This slider lives up to the Benro name. I use this with my Canon 5D Mark III (16-35) and have no complaints. The bag that it comes in is a bit overkill and can all fit a full size tripod with head. 5

[5.3 lb] I had tried another brand with a friction slider that had "good" reviews. It was horrible; video was very choppy because it kept getting caught up and it wasn't smooth at all. My camera is just a Canon T5i, so it's not heavy. The Benro slider was a world apart and is very smooth. Having rollers made the difference, but combining this with a Benro tripod with the S7 head means that I can quickly go from slider, to tripod, to handheld. For a beginner who is just starting to get into creating videos, you'll love how well this performs and the light weight makes it easy to carry. 5
