With the HDMI 4x4 Matrix Switcher - DIGITAL FORECAST Bridge RSup to four HDMI sources can be sent to any combination of four HDMI outputs. Input resolutions can be converted to conform to the connected displays, and a multiview option is available as well. Conversion and multiview modes can be engaged using the built-in DIP switches. Dual RJ45 ports can be connected for either Ethernet or RCP remote control. Local control can be taken using the comprehensive front-panel buttons.

A: The main difference is that the mini is only compatible with HDMI/SDI while the full size includes VGA, AES, analog audio and others. The HDMI/SDI functions are identical on both units with the mini offering enhanced monitoring, allowing test pattern generation and measurement at the same time.

A: It does supported embedded audio through SDI. This is a multi-voltage system that ships with a Universal Power Supply with International Plug Adapters. However a Sony NP-F style battery plate is optional, it is not included. A: We are not sure of what is being asked. We can say that this is a matrix switcher, so whatever source you select on whatever output will also transfer the audio. Q: 10. Can you monitor individual audio channels through the headphone jack, or just 1/2?

A: Manufacturer only specifies level monitoring for multiple channels. Audio monitoring may not be available beyond channels 1/2 from the earphone output.

[13 W] We are using this for a computer output (display port to HDMI, not included). The quality is very good for HD-SDI. We have used BlackMagic in the past but this is a very good product. We have two now and have had no issues. Our old BlackMagic devices have had power supplies go bad but not the Digital Forecast device. 5

[13 W] I am using this and it works perfectly. I have 2 PC's and 2 streaming devices connected to the 4 inputs, and 3 monitors and a TV connected to the outputs. Audio and 4k60hz video can be seamlessly toggled between inputs and outputs over the web interface. Does everything I hoped perfectly. 5

[13 W] If youre looking for a good portable monitor that wont break the bank, this is for you. As a video engineer, Im always running 1-200 HDSDI cables and troubleshooting HDMI runs and other video needs. I was slightly hesitant in purchasing this since getting any information on it was practically impossible, but Im glad I went through with it. As far as resolutions, I have seen 1080p 29.97/59.94/60 and 1080i 29.97. It pretty much does everything that I need it to do for testing on my day to day in the field, especially when it is paired with the battery pack adapter (sold seperately). I opted for the one for the Canon, but you can get a Sony adapter as well. Other than the bottom right screw hole on the adapter hitting the fan guard, it fit perfectly (I just removed it from the adapter and added locktight on the remaining three). As far as scopes go, I wasnt too pleased, but its not intended for that kind of work, so I cant really dog it. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack so you can monitor any audio coming down the pipe, or in a pinch, you can use it as a audio de-embedder for HDSDI or HDMI (been there and it worked in a pinch). The test patterns are solid and good to have built in, the touch screen is responsive and the fact that you can activly convert HDMI HDSDI and vise versa is another win. Overall I am completely happy with this product and if you are on the fence about purchasing it, just do it, the return policy from B&H is hassle-free, but I doubt you will need it. 5
