A: Since this has an internal battery it will remember all of the settings if power is lost. The rechargeable battery yields up to 160 hours of continuous operation and is rated for a minimum of 500 charge cycles. Included in the package is an AC adapter for recharging the battery.

A: This unit should work for you. It has 2 inputs, with one input going to both outputs and the other input on stand-by. A: This will switches to the secondary input when the primary input is lost. It does not specific sync or image, but in either case the signal will be lost and require going to the other input.
