[0.85 lb] I couldn't believe the good quality of this for the price! To my surprise the panel has a cord within the frame which allows for very easy assembly - perfect for location use. This is the perfect size for me and seems like very strong construction!

[0.85 lb] I bought this frame because I wanted greater control over my lighting. I usually use a light disc (also made by Photoflex), but like this system because you can adjust it in a far more precise way, and also there are various types of cloth available, each giving a different effect. It's a beautifully and simply designed frame - takes seconds to put together or collapse, weighs next to nothing, and is very solid but lightweight.

[0.85 lb] I just switched up how I light single and double talent interviews this year.  I already had a Chimera 42 inch X 42 inch frame on hand so I ordered a Chimera 5142 1/2 Grid Cloth as the first layer of diffusion on my old school ARRI Fresnel key light.  Just in front of that I hang a Chimera 5162 72 inch X 72 inch 1/2 Grid Cloth for additional softening.  With a Matthews 4 foot X 4 foot Black Floppy for negative fill, I then add a single back light positioned and flagged for rim and shoulders.  Great results for interviews.  Chimera has a great crew and offers stellar customer service.  Really stoked about this new set up.

[0.85 lb] I was a bit skeptical about ordering a large reflector that quite frankly looked like a Sun Bounce knock off. I was worried that the quality would be a bit lacking. Bot was I wrong I have used the sun bounce reflectors and love them but they are waaayyy too high priced for what they are and when I received my impact reflector I was seriously impressed. This thing is of the highest quality and easy to use at a very nice price compared to others like it. The quality of light it gives and the strength of the material is quite impressive as well as the ease of use. I just wished they had more materials to choose from to change up the look but the one they give you is very nice indeed

[0.85 lb] I love the look of natural light and try to use reflectors rather than flash whenever possible. Have a few 42 rounds that work well, but don't do the job with a good sized family portrait. Had the Sunbounce on my wish list for years, but couldn't substantiate the price. This unit was on sale at a great price just before Thanksgiving. I had an outdoor family (7 people) session scheduled so I went for it. It was just what I was hoping for. Provides great light and becomes a super shade when necessary. Used it for both purposes, and the results were perfect. It will get lots of use when the weather gets warm again.

[0.85 lb] I use reflectors in almost all my work and have always used DIY panels of some sort. This panel is my new favorite. It gives me the right balance of contrast and diffusion and when you mount the crossbar to a grip head for wide tubes and mount it to a rolling stand, you get a reflector panel that is easy to move and adjust on the fly to find the perfect light. Design and setup are simple and I like the way the crossbars attach to the side poles. Much better than the way some other brands are doing it.
