The TA-4-VB is a standard 100mm video bowl that will allow you to use 3rd party fluid heads or leveling bases with your versa series tripod. Machined from 6061 T-6 aircraft grade aluminum and type 2 anodized, the leveling bowl will weather and corrosion resistant.

Q: 5. Does the backpack style bag it comes with have room for both the sticks & standard 100mm head? Or does it hold the legs alone?

A: Yes, this bag should be able to hold the tripod with a head installed. It will just depend on the size of the head used. According to Benro the included bag will give you a total of around 36 inches of clearance. This tripod has a folded length of around 28 inches, meaning you will have another 8 inches or so left within the bag for a tripod head.

Q: 6. Does anyone has experience using this tripod with Manfrotto 500BALLSH (100mm half-ball, short handle) part #MA500BSH? My concern is that Benro 100HB 100mm half-ball part #BEBL100 has a longer handle. Could not find the handle length info.

A: This does not fit a regular 75mm bowl. It fits tripods that uses the Gitzo Systematic Series 2, 3 and 4, This includes Gitzo Systematic Induro Grand, LeoFoto Mountain Series, and Robus.

Q: 8. Will this work with an older O'Connor 1030 head from the '90s?

A: If the head has a 100mm ball mount, it should work with the Benro C674TM Carbon Fiber Tandem-Leg Video Tripod (100mm Bowl).

[3.9 in] This tripod is great if your a one man band or in rougher environments. Each leg can be locked into a different angle if your in an irregular environment. This can be an issue however if you neglect to make sure all three legs are locked at the same angle. The legs extend like a boom pole and lock in pretty easy. Solid build quality despite the low price. 5

[3.9 in] This is the best deal for a 50lb+ capacity carbon fiber tripod. We are filming with larger camera rigs, over 20 pound and the Manfroto 546B can't handle that load. We purchased the Sirui BCT-3202 from B&H flash sale for $350 and with a $50 rebate. The first thing we noticed is how light the Sirui BCT-3202 compared to the Manfroto 546B. The Sirui BCT-3202 is rock solid, holds our rig with no creeping or movement and handles vibrations better. The Sirui BCT-3202 is a great deal, for under $1000 this tripod is a steal. Our only regret is that we did not buy more for the $350 price. At the $589 price the Sirui BCT-3202 can compete with tripods in the $2000 price range. 5

[0.345 lb] Well worth the cost if you need the weight abilities. I am NOT a huge fan of twist lock legs and I wish Benro would get with the times, but this is still an amazing set of legs for the price. 5

[0.345 lb] I ordered this as a back up. Now I have two, and I feel like I got two for the price of one RRS. I'm using one in the studio and one for on location work. That alone makes location work much easier. In my opinion they are as good as money can buy. Thanks again to good old B&H for having this product available. 5
