The Weldex 19" TFT LCD SXGA Monitorfrom Weldex 19" TFT LCD SXGA Monitorfeatures 1280 x 1024 (SXGA) resolution and 16.7 million colors with 250 cd/m² brightness. The on-screen display menu provides for feature and video adjustments or changes to contrast, color, language, and video and input selection. With multiple inputs and compatibility with VESA standards, NTSC, PAL, and SECAM, the monitor can be used with almost any security video recorder. A: On the Osprey MVS-8, when no signal is detected on the SDI input, the screen shows the VU meter on the left, the time stamp at the top, and a blue screen background. With an SDI monitor connected to the SDI out, the monitor shows a blue screen.

[86 ppi] Super easy to set up, easy to adjust for different sized cameras, and you can adjust the balance point so it isn't front heavy. Build quality is great, but the part that holds the glass is a bit plasticy. The screen takes HDMI and VGA connections to the computer, and the software that comes with it is great too. We've used it for a few different shoots and have had no problems loading & editing scripts or reading from it. I'd certainly recommend it, so much better than our old iPad prompter for studio work! 5

[8 ms] I used many different teleprompters before so I new what configuration I have to look at. But at the same time I wasn't sure that this one is comlpetely what I need. So when it came and I did firs shoot with it I realised how good it is. It made with a wery high quality matrials, good glass and this plastic hood with lens hood. The only thing I'd like to be more is monitor connections. There is only dvi-connector so you have to get adaptor for your mac. One more very important thing is software wich goes with teleprompter. I'm in love with ZApromp software. It is very convenient and have pretty all settings you usually need working with prompter. 5

[8 ms] Works great. I use it in a very small studio, so we don't use the entire 15 of screen real estate. Eye movement tends to be too much when using it close up, so we just resize the teleprompter app window to be a little smaller on screen. Can't say anything about the software that comes with this device since we use other software instead. The one thing this lacks is the ability for the monitor to flip/mirror itself -- you have to do that in the software or operating system instead. Also, we're amateurs, just filming a video podcast, but works great for us! 5

[4:3] Is it necessary? No. But I appreciate the value of keeping finger marks off a touch screen. It does have a noticeable Matte finish which will help in sunlight. Expensive, but a good buy. Took me 5 minutes to push the bubbles out once applied. Then once the screen is on you don't notice any remaining bubbles. 5
