They will sound much better for music and do a good job of projecting the sound.

A: Wire size depends on how many amps your pushing to the speaker and the distance to the speaker. For this speaker I would recommend a 14 gauge wire (preferably shielded). You can purchase this wire (14/2) from most music shops and home improvement stores. Just ask for 14/2 stranded speaker wire some times referred to as low volt cable. [15 W Continuous] Use the speaker for an additional speaker for my FOXPRO game call. Helps on those windy days !! Easy to wire up, excellent sound, portability, mounting fast if you want to put on truck.... highly recommend ! 5
