[None] I used to mix with waves NLS, great plugin but it’s just not a fast workflow even with template. Studio One is brilliant with their mix fx channel and can’t wait to see what the future brings. CTC-1 is pretty brilliant and it’ll give you 3 very different analogue emulations, that because of the mix fx takes it a step further than any summing plugins out there, not only in how it sounds and works (especially cause of the cross feed), but also just the ease and workflow speed.

This is not a plug-in you put on after a mix as it won’t really work as supposed - and might muddy or make your mix worse. The point of it, is to treat it as your console and mix in to it from scratch. It’ll instantly bring a lot of life and Mojo just by leveling your mix and I find that it makes me process the individual tracks less. I do have a mix bus and parallel compression template but I’m sure no matter your starting mix state mixing in to this will make you experience your mix approach different.

[Nylon] You bought the board, you bring it to some shows at bars, you've been putting it on your passenger seat, where you can keep an eye on it. Maybe it's time to get some real protection.I put my board in a case. It's a nice tilt-up case. However, I can not access the headphone jack when I use this case. So I ditched the case.This bag offers a great deal of protection. It fits snugly. It is well-padded. It has room for a laptop and a few cables. While it is not as bulletproof as my Gator case, it will protect $ worth of equipment well enough I won't worry about moving it around from place to place.Another plus, in the bag, it takes up less room than the case did. True, you won't want to stack a half ton of crap on top of it. And yet, I seem to be able to find a place for it among all the other large and heavy equipment I feel I need for a bar gig in my rather small vehicle.Listen, there is no reason to move your SL 1602 around without this bag at least. You're reading this review because you are thinking about it. It's $. Don't be a moron. Get the bag.

[0.41 lb] Perfectly fits my AR16 mixer and the backpack function works great. Does exactly what it says it does.

[Nylon] I received 2 NSB16.8 on a Thursday and did a live-show that same Sunday using the PreSonus StudioLive 24 III, without a single issue. I must say this is a huge improvement on the old copper snakes I have used throughout my 30+ year carrier running sound. Lightweight and sturdy. Clearest sound imaginable. No gain issues or artifact. I use the PRO AV/IT CAT6 ETHRCN 150 foot cable straight into the board and a 25-foot cable to connect the 2nd box to the first one. No AVB switch needed. Extremely fast deployment.

[Nylon] Small Band-live sound Semi-Parametric EQ is outstanding I.E. clarity, perfomance, user friendly. The best bang for the buck. Also, FX are very close to studio grade, excellant for live sound. Anything negative =N/A

[0.41 lb] I purchased this in 2022 for a new music studio. It is a great compact 16x4 channel audio mixer. Includes 4 stereo input channels as well as 2 internal effects buss. While it is no longer in production by PreSonus, nor directly supported, you can still get current up to date software and drivers and applications from PreSonus, technical support discussions via email and plenty of user discussions and templates on how to use it. Fully automated, it can be augmented with the free PreSonus Capture & Universal Control software to connect from a computer hands free in Windows & even set up as the default Windows Audio device. Mac users also!

Although my review is August 2024, it is still my only digital mixer in the studio. I would suggest buying any protection offered by B&H. This mixer has both a Firewire and a USB specific model, so make sure you understand the interface if you will be using this with a computer. There are plenty YouTube videos on many topics regarding this device. There is even training software offered from many vendors that cover the mixer functionality in great depth. PreSonus has many videos on functionality with its DAW software Studio One.

A fantastic way to mix live as well as digital software music from a computer. XLR inputs, +48v power for Condenser mics, 1/4 and RCA audio inputs, Talkback, Main outputs, Aux (4 ch buss) outputs and software Buss functionality thru Universal Control. This product comes with some application software after registration. Mine came with Studio One Artist - check their web site after registration.

[Nylon] This bag is perfect for toting and carring. The board fits snug, the three carry options are great features. I like the extra pockets for cables and notes books. Sure beats a road case.

[None] So far we are impressed. The learning curve is a little steep but not too bad. Already sounds better than our old analog board and I am encouraged knowing it will only get better! As usual, B&H service is top notch!
