Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Thank you very much for your respond. Would you be as kind as to specify the dimmensions of the main dividers that come with the bag? Is there an accessorie divider that is the same as the one deliverd with the bag i.e. I would like to make bag divided in four sections instead of three?

A: The dividers that come inside the Hadley Pro Shoulder Bag are 5.9x5.9 inches. There are a few divider options that we carry as accessories for the Hadley Pro in different sizes, and the DF15-15 divider with flap is going to be the best fit. You can see it here: http://bhpho.to/1dzVVGg

Q: 2. What type of Billingham divider should be used to divide the bag into four section bag?I expect it to be the same hight and width as the dividers provided with the bag.

A: Below is a link to extra partition dividers for the Billingham Hadley Pro Shoulder bag. Also if you regard the Accessories tab are other optional compatible dividers of various sizes for you to also consider. See the link below for details on the recommended divider:http://bhpho.to/JzGYps

Q: 3. Is this the new 2030 version?

A: This is the same bag since 2009. It is not the 2020 model.

Q: 4. Are these still being made in the UK or are now Made in China?

A: all handmade in Birmingham England.

Q: 5. Is it possible to put a 12 MacBook inside the hardly pro meanwhile one camera with lens in? Thanks for the comment.

A: Thank you all the guys, and appreciate very much for all your comments. My gears are M240 with one 28mm Elmarit plus one 35mm Sumicron, hopefully with 12 inch MacBook. I will go for Hardly Pro for the try. However I was tortured to select the color between all black and black with tan leather. Please kindly let know your own choice to the color preference. Thanks again.

Q: 6. Do the two front pockets have snaps for closing? Or what type of closure do they have?

A: The pockets have snaps. You can see them on the other photos we have for the product.

Q: 7. Regarding the zipper: is it a YKK or a generic brand?

A: The zipper is not YKK but high-quality brass very similar to mil-spec zippers that have lasted 30-40 years for me.

Q: 8. What is the width on the strap? 1.5 or 2 inches?

A: 1.5 inches is the width of the hadley pro strap

Q: 9. Will the Hadley Pro fit a 7D with 24-70 attached as well as a 70-200 and a nifty fifty? Ideally I'd like to put my 13 Macbook Pro Retina in it as well.

A: It will all fit, but it will be a tight fit with the laptop as this bag is not really designed to fit one. I have loaded it up with a D810 with 24-70 and a 70-200 plus my 13 inch mbp plus cables/chargers. Although with this much kit you might want to look at the Hadley Large Pro, with it's dedicated laptob pouch. Hope this helps.

Q: 10. Do we know what size laptop would fit into the padded divider?

A: a 17 inch laptop would without issue.All the best,Eric

[3.305 lb] What can I say about this Billingham bag? It’s typical Billingham quality of course. The design that swallows way more gear than it should. I was using a Hadley Pro when I added a third body, all Fujis. The Pro could hold three bodies and a few lenses but it was getting tight. It was also hard to stuff in the T1 or T2 with the grip. The One allows for the battery grip and an E-2 and E-3. Eight lenses are in there and a couple of flashes. Plenty room left for the usual junk we haul along. It’s a wonderful bag. My only complaint is that they didn’t use the button-up flap on the pockets like the Hadley Pro.

[3.305 lb] I saw this bag on YouTube and it looked like the perfect bag to travel with as it holds all of the essentials: laptop, camera, iPad and other travel accessories. It also is a great quality bag and looks like it will last for a very long time. While expensive, I'm glad I made the purchase.

[3.305 lb] Have used this bag for nearly a month and find it to be my favorite. Quality of the materials, padding and craftsmanship are excellent as expected. As the name says, it is small, but carries more equipment than I imagined. I am a Fuji shooter. I replaced the dividers with two Peak Design sling replacement dividers with folding partitions. With that change I can fit an X-T3 with 18-55 attached, a large lens with the divider folded flat (55-200, 80 macro or 10-24) and a smaller lens (14, 23/2 etc.) on the other side. The front flaps have a snap for closure, but also a second snap to reduce the volume so batteries, filters etc. can’t move around in transport. Also appreciate the top flap. With it closed, I tuck a camera strap above the camera and never worry about the metal parts of the strap scratching the LCD. Great bag!

[3.305 lb] I hesitated getting this bag for quite a while because it indicated only capacity for a 13" MacBook, and a response from B&H customer service indicated the same. I wish I had not waited so long. My 15" 2017 MacBook Pro fits in the padded compartment easily with a (small) bit of room to spare. It easily accommodates an E-M1.2 w/ 12-100mm lens and 60mm macro with some room to spare for other accessories.

This is a "just right size" bag for field work. With the dividers removed, there is plenty of room for other non-camera equipment or use as an overnighter as well. This is the perfect complement to the cavernous 555 that holds the full complement of equipment when I travel. I only have several weeks of wear on the Hadley One and a year and a half on the 555. But neither has been treated gently and the Hadley One has been used in rocky, dusty, hot desert conditions in the field and still looks new. I expect that my children will be enjoying these bags in the (hopefully) far future. It is expensive, but of a commensurate quality.

[3.305 lb] The bag is well made and lightweight. It is smaller than I expected but works well for my purposes, which was to safely carry a Leica Q2 with additional room for charger, strap, spare battery, and SD Cards. I haven't tested the water resiliency as yet but the build quality would not give rise to any concerns. Fully meets my functional requirements and is a pretty good-looking bag. Kinda wish I'd gotten the red one but this is a keeper.

[3.305 lb] Finally available in the US. It has all the features missing on my Hadley small, particularly the top handle and the rear zipper compartment. Well worth the wait. Of course, it has the expected Billingham quality.

[3.305 lb] I own several Billingham bags: Hadley Pro, Hadley Large and f1.4. The oldest of which is the Hadley Large. The challenge with the Hadley Pro and Hadley Large is that these bags are narrow where it takes some fiddling to get my Fuji X-T2 and X-Pro2 cameras in and out with lenses mounted. I wanted a lightly wider bag (front to back) to make it easier to use with two cameras. When the Hadley One was announced, I ordered it right away. The bag answers my prayers. It also features a 2 wide removable strap which makes the bag more comfortable when loaded up with gear. A dedicated laptop pocket accommodates my 13 MacBook Pro AND iPad Pro 9.5. When I travel, however, I only take my iPad Pro and leave the laptop home. The fit and finish is the usual top-notch Billingham quality. It should last for years and the nob and leather closures are quiet and fast to open and close. No velcro ever on a Billingham bag. I purchased mine in fibernyte Khaki with chocolate brown leather trim. This is the same color scheme and materials as my f1.4 bag. It's beautiful and doesn't scream expensive camera gear inside.

[3.305 lb] Bought this bag to hold all my day photo gear and essentials while I traveling outside the country. This is an airport dream bag. It is the perfect size to hold my gear snug and secure without being oversized and a burden. I opted to get the additional shoulder pad option as a days equipment comes to about 15lbs and it makes a big difference to distribute the weight. I added my Peak Design CapturePro to the strap for when I need the camera available but not in my hands without adding another strap around my neck. I have a Fuji-Xpro2, 16-55, 100-400, 1.5 converter, Nissin Di700A Flash, and iPad Pro loaded and have 1/3 the bag, one front pocket, and the back slip pocket still available. There is enough room to bring it up to the 22 lbs carry on limit. I'm impressed with the style and have no doubts that it will endure the riggers of travel while keeping my equipment safe.
