The Benro 49-82mm Step-Up Ring for Camera Lensesfrom Benro 49-82mm Step-Up Ring for Camera Lensesis an aluminum-constructed ring that enables you to adapt a larger 82mm size filter onto a 49mm diameter lens, therefore, many different filter sizes can fit on your lens. On wide-angle lenses, the ring's low-profile prevents any vignetting in the image, and the flat black finish on the ring minimizes reflections, which would cause lens flare as well. Additionally, the knurling on the edge allows you to have a firmer grip of the ring when you're putting it on a lens.

[0.04 lb] I bought this ring to be able to use the filters that I already had for my Nikon and use it on the Hasselblad (503). It works great and saved me a lot of hassle and money to find the original filters for the Hasselblad. It also takes up less space because I don't have to store another stack of filters.

[49 mm to 82 mm] Buying this simple little step-up ring allows me to use filters I had already purchased for use on 2 other lenses. With the money I save by doing this, I can afford to experiment with more filters!

[0.04 lb] Needed this so I'm able to use my more expensive filter that I already had and I'm glad there is this option to do just that. Solid construction and does what it's supposed to do.

[49 mm to 82 mm] I'm still new to photography, but after hearing about this product, I had to try it out. I bought it and used it for a few days. While the auto WB on my D90 was quite good, it wasn't necessarily perfect. I'm kind of a nut for accurate representation in my pictures unless I'm specifically going for a specific effect, of which I'd still like to be in control of. The only thing I wasn't totally happy about, though I understand why it's there, is the mounting mechanism. It's just like small spring loaded bearings on the lens or filter attachment adapter. It doesn't screw in, just kind of pops on and off. I guess that assists in ease of use, but I don't like worrying about dropping filters when they're in use. I guess many people would rather have the pop on and off than screw on, and I'm probably in the minority. Still, a great product, highly recommended especially if you've had auto WB problems with your camera in the past.

[49 mm to 82 mm] I purchased this to use a 77mm filter on the Nikon 16-85mm zoom. There is not anything that can really go wrong here. It is an excellent value and allows me to use larger filters on the smaller diameter lenses.

[Side] If you need to adapt a 58mm thread to a 77mm thread, this is your ring right here. It's ringy, it provides the ability to adapt a smaller thread to a larger thread, and it's black - the color of professionals. What more do you want? Buy it already.

[49 mm to 82 mm] Its a pretty great product, tiffen makes quality items, the filter seems sturdy and strong, doesnt see to bend easily, but you should not force it. Awesome and cheap way to share filters between lens.
