A: Yes there are openings on the side of the MegaGear Ultralight Neoprene Camera Case for Canon PowerShot SX70 HS (Gray) where the strap can be used while the camera is in the case.

A: Not that we are aware of. This case is designed for use with the EOS R and the native Canon RF 24-105mm Lens. It may be too small for use with an EF 24-105mm and adapter and is not recommended.
