Tiffen 67mm Circular Polarizer Filters - Light rays which are reflected become polarized. Polarizing filters are used to select which light rays enter your camera lens. They can remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass and also saturate colors providing better contrast. The effect can be seen through the viewfinder and changed by rotating the filter. The filter factor varies according to how the filter is rotated and its orientation to the sun.

If you're out walking on a lovely day - in the mountains or at the beach - and you want to get a fabulous shot of a cloud-filled sky or make the water seem more saturated, then a polarizer is the way to go. This filter is the best way to make the clouds stand out, increase or decrease the saturation of the ocean or increase or decrease the reflection off the water. You can also use this filter when shooting into glass or windows since it will, again, either increase or decrease reflections.

If you're shooting black and white and want to simulate a threatening storm, try throwing on a #25 Red filter. The vista will take on the appearance of an imminent, ominous storm.

Along with a UV or Skylight Filter, a polarizing filter should be a part of everyone's gear bag. It can turn a run-of-the-mill image into a stunning, creative photo by increasing color saturation.

[Glass] A perfect companion for use with the Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S, Z 85m f/1.2 S, or Z 135mm f/1.8 S Plena lenses (and others, but these I own). There is no discernable vignetting when in use on any of the above. I find this Nikon CPF to be slightly darker than some of its competitors, but that makes a good complement under certain situations.

[Aluminum] I use this filter on a 18-200 mm Nikon lens. It is easy to mount and dismount, is very effective in filtering glare from subjects such as water and plants. I've had no problems with this filter.

[0.18 lb] I do a lot of outdoor shooting and use a polarizing filter for the vast majority of shots that include sky and clouds. The richness of color and contrast when a polarizer is properly used is unbelievable. Nikon makes great glass and their filters are no exception. I especially like the thin construction.

[Glass] Wonderful filter, easy to adjust and good polarization to image. There is no vignetting even at 12mm. I have three of these same filters for my 67,72 and 77mm Nikon Lens. I would recommend these filters to any photographer.

[Aluminum] My old filter kept vignetting significantly on my Nikon 28-300 lens at the wide end. With this slim design, the problem has been cut down about 75%, which helps significantly in cloning out the dark corners. The filter is coated. Not sure if it's multi-coating, but it appears very high quality and should reduce flare (not actually tested this). The front of the filter still has threads so I can mount a second graduated filter (I prefer not to hand-hold those). Most other slim polarizers don't have that feature. The filter threads very easily on my lens and also rotates smoothly, even in cold temperature. It may be expensive, but I have no regrets and it should last a lifetime if handled nicely.

[67 mm] To use on 52 mm diameter lenses. Works very well with Nikkor lenses. Seriously improve the quality render of the lenses. A must have for precious and fine amateurs of photography.

[Glass] A perfect companion for use with the Nikkor Z 70-200mm f/2.8 S or Z 20mm f/1.8 S (and others, but these I own). There is no discernable vignetting on the 70-200mm. Maybe just a touch on the 20mm, but it is really difficult to tell if so. I find this Nikon CPF to be slightly darker than some of its competitors, but that makes a good complement under certain situations.
