Made from a stable polyester material and featuring a clear microporous coating, Inkpress Media Transparency Film 13x19, 500 Sheetsfrom Inkpress Media Transparency Film 13x19, 500 Sheetswill allow you to create screen positives and negatives using dye- or pigment-based inks. The paper measures 7 mil thick and is useful for creating overhead projections as well as digital negatives for advanced photographic workflows. Additionally, it features a glossy surface.

Q: 1. Can I use this with a Canon Pixma Pro 100?

A: Yes! That's the printer I use and it works great with this film. I find it's best to boost saturation and contrast quite a bit for printing on this material - it's not like printing on paper. You'll need a little trial and error to dial it in. Also, a tip - don't throw the paper separators away. For my purposes anyway, placing one between the transparency and lightbox really helps.

Q: 2. Can this material be printed on the Espon S80600? If so does it come in 24" rolls?

A: Unfortunately no, it is only compatible with aqueous inks, not solvent inks.

Q: 3. Is this crystal clear or does it look milky?

A: The material used in this transparency film is rated as clear.

Q: 4. Will this work with a HP designjet T920?

A: Yes it is compatible.

Q: 5. Can this be glued to a coroplast board to make signs?

A: Inkpress Media Transparency Film has not been designed to be glued to any surface. There is no guarantee that this will work. A better option would be the Inkpress Media Inkpress Clear Adhesive Film, BH #INACFC20 (https://bhpho.to/3zeZKVD). This already has an adhesive back so it can be attached to almost any surface.

Q: 6. Can this paper be used for foiling?

A: Due to the glossy surface of this paper it would make it hard for the foil to adhere, so I would not recommend it.

Q: 7. Can these transparency sheets be used with the Epson 3880?

A: Yes, it is compatible.

Q: 9. Can these transparency sheets be used with the Canon Pro Pixma 100?

A: Canon devices don't require special ICC printer profiles to print on transparencies. Set the media to “Glossy Photo Paper (II)” or “Photo Paper Pro II” before printing.

Q: 10. does this film have bond paper rolled behind it?

A: No, this Inkpress Media Transparency Film for Inkjet - 17" Wide Roll - 100' Long, would not have bond paper behind it.

[Polyester] We use Inkpress film to print large negatives for alternative processes (gum bichromates, cyanotypes, salt prints, etc) with excellent detail and tonality range. It also produces beautiful color transparencies. Happily it is now packaged with interleaving, making it easier to unpack. 5

[Single] the texture on the film holds the toner so we'll that I do not have to use two transparencies to get block out for my particular use. It is worth the extra money .. 5

[500x Sheet Film] I've used both the Inkpress and Pictorico transparency film for making digital negatives for alternative processes. I print gum bichromate, platinum, palladium, chrysotype, vd brown, kallitype, argyrotype, cyanotype...you name it! I've gotten equal excellent results whether I use Inkpress or Pictorico brand films. In comparison, the Arista 5 mil film is bad! It doesn't get as sharp of a print and it sticks badly to archival sleeves. I haven't tried the 7 mil Arista yet, but since the Inkpress is about the same price, why bother? The big advantage of Inkpress over Pictorico at this size is that it's available in these 50 sheet bulk packs, which saves a few extra $, and I've only seen Pictorico in 25 sheet or rolls. When I need to use roll for larger prints, I go with Pictorico, but when I'm doing letter size sheets for 8x10 or smaller, Inkpress is the thrifty choice. Great performance with inexpensive Canon Pixma printers too! 5

[500x Sheet Film] Using for digital negatives. These sheets work great. A lot better than some of the cheaper brands from Am@$on. 5

[39 lb] I am experimenting with creating etchings from my photographs using the solar plate process. This requires that the solar plate be exposed to UV light prior to processing. After following instructions in the Epson manual, I successfully printed on this film. This is the first time that I have tried printing with the Epson 3880 on substrates other than cotton rag paper! The prints that I chose to print were all monochrome black and white. All photos printed great onto this film. Now I have to test with creating an etching on solar plate from the printed transparency! 5
