[Metal] I purchased these because I recently purchased a Zeiss Ikon Nettar 515 camera and the tripod mount was bigger than the standard 1/4 inch tripod mount but wanted a way to adapt it to a regular tripod mount. These work perfectly. They are a little longer than I need but if it becomes a problem, I can just cut them a little shorter. The camera hardly weighs anything so I'm not worried about the weight but now I can shoot tripod mounted since the shutter speed times on the Nettar 515 are pretty slow and I'm usually in the woods/nature taking my pictures. Would buy again if needed but since the package comes with two, I probably won't need any more anytime soon. Product appears to be of high quality though. Well made. 5
