The 1-gallon GTI Standard Gray N7 Vinyl Latex Paint 1 Gallonfrom GTI Standard Gray N7 Vinyl Latex Paint 1 Gallonis formulated for the plastic, textile, and non-graphic industries, which is required to evaluate color correctly in a viewing area. The Munsell N7/ paint is applied in the surrounding area, which eliminates simultaneous color contrast. This helps your eyes see color accurately because of the chromatically neutral environment. At the same time, the paint minimizes color pollution caused by chromatic surfaces. The matte flat enamel paint is water-reducible and can be applied by roller, spray gun, or brush.

There are no optical brighteners in the GTI Neutral Gray so I would say it is neutral under UV energy. GTI Standard Gray Neutral N8 Vinyl Latex Paint will appear neutral gray in color. It is designed for the photo and graphic industry, which typically does not use infrared light or ultraviolet light which is outside of the view-able light spectrum.This paint is ideal for use in color viewing areas which require Munsell N8 or N7 gray surround as specified by ISO 3664:2000. This paint is specially formulated to have a flat spectral response without any color bias. A neutral gray is not simply a black-white mix, but an equal mixture of all the visible spectrum (r-o-y-g-b-i-v) colors. A spectrophotometric measurement of such a gray will show it to contain approximately equal amounts of those spectrum colors.

A: I am sorry, but I haven't a clue as I am not familiar with the camera or the lens. I have a canon EOS Rebel T5i with a Sigma 18-250 lens. The Zing works just fine for this set up.

Q: 10. Does this need to be professionally shaken upon delivery?

A: You jut need to stir well but if you have access to a professional shaker sure.

[Metal Can] Gets the job done as far as paint goes. The thing about this paint is that it fills a special niche. You may want your viewing areas to be a neutral gray just to achieve the best viewing area possible. Or, you may actually need this paint, to meet guidelines set by agencies that have technical demands for scanning or viewing areas. This isn't really something you pick because you like the color, you pick it because it fills a specific need. With that being said, it's neutrality means it's not a color that will offend many people. 5

[Matte] I needed this for my at home colour suite. I just painting the wall behind my reference monitor and it's exactly what I imagined it would be. This is very thick paint. It creates a lot of fumes - FYI - you really need to ventilate the room well. It looks great - it's exactly what's advertised. I recommend it. 5

[12.95 lb] Yes, the paint is expensive but it did a miracle to my color grading room. Harsh reflections are gone, I can accurately dial in brightness/saturation in footage without being fooled by room light. Highly recommended! I only needed 1 gallon for my entire room (that had 3 base coats of white primer). 5

[Metal Can] This is a pure neutral gray paint, absolutely no colorant in it at all to shift colors in the work space. I also got better coverage than expected and the quality of the finish is excellent! 5
