I have a Samsung phone and Samsung TV so connecting to the Smart Things app was fairly easy. The instructions could be a bit more detailed. I decided to connect via Bluetooth rather than wifi.
The Music Frame is a perfect addition to our Livingroom the sound is amazing, I was skeptical. It is not too bassy like most sound systems are. No matter where you position the frame,it sounds fantastic. We chose to hang it on the wall, centered above our couch, with the included hardware. The frame blends well with the rest of our decor.
We like that you can control on your phone, especially the volume. It connected to Alexa with ease.
The music sounds crisp and clear, as if you were at a concert, connected to the TV, sounds just as amazing.
We are very pleased with this purchase. We are thinking of purchasing another for our master bedroom.

It's all the quality you expect from Samsung speakers, but in a super beautiful design that seamlessly blends in just about anywhere. Straight out of the box, this speaker is larger and heavier than I expected, and feels very high quality. It's about the size of a vinyl record - I have this speaker by my record player, and it complements the space beautifully. It also came with a stand and a wall mounting kit, so you can set it up just about anywhere.

The art panel that sits on the front of the speaker is a classy matte finish with a mat border that really makes it look like art. It came with two printed designs to choose from, but it's super easy to customize your art panel even more - 8x10 photo paper fits perfectly in the art panel, so I immediately printed some art from my favorite soundtracks to display instead, and it looks amazing. But if you plan to replace the art in the panel, I highly recommend going to a relatively dust free space to avoid any dust getting in the panel.

The speaker has booming audio that can get much louder than I expected, and has powerful bass for such a small package. My roommate was so impressed that she's going to pick one up, too! I also love how easily it connects to other devices. It has built in Chromecast that connects so quickly and effortlessly. It can also connect via wifi and bluetooth. I'm very happy with this speaker!

[1.75" (44.5mm)] I purchased these speakers to replace the 12 inch woofers that were in two PA 121 cabinets originally sold by Mackie Industrial. These were manufactured by RCF in Italy and rebranded as Mackie. The original 12s had basically rotted away and were unusable. I emailed Eminence and they confirmed that this would be a good replacement choice. The build quality of these Eminence speakers is very impressive and professional. When it came to testing, I was very pleasantly surprised! Punchy lows, very clean mids. In my system I have the cabinets set up for bi-amping. The crossover point is set at 3000 HZ. I would describe the sound as very musical and accurate. I also own a pair of QSC K 10s. I did an A-B comparison and found that the Mackie speakers with the eminence 12s sounded very similar to the K 10s but a little cleaner and much, much louder. The efficiency and output level is almost unbelievable at this price point. (about 300w available to each 12 inch and about 50w to each horn) The first time I had an opportunity to use these speakers was at an outdoor 5K race as an announce system at the finish line. We were covering an area about the size of two football fields with several thousand people. The sound was great and the customer was very happy. It sounded like a much larger system. One additional benefit, the cabinets are now noticeably lighter than they were before. That's always a plus! I highly recommend the speaker; you will not be disappointed.

[12.12 lb] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Music Frame blew us away.. This little frame packs quite the punch. We have tried quite a few different steaming devices on it and they all sound excellent. Also, Siri and Alexa can be enabled (through the app) so that you can utilize the Music Frame as an Alexa extension, this is amazing.

We have tried it during work calls as well, and it pairs excellent to hear your calls through the frame. We are looking to customize the picture within the frame to one of our own, but the one that it comes with (a record player) looks and fits in beautifully with our decor.

I think Samsung hit it out of the park with this innovative music frame and we are very happy we got it. Also if you own a frame TV, you can purchase two of these and hang close to the TV so it looks like an art gallery but in reality you have some serious Dolby Atmos surround sound. Don't miss out, this is amazing!

The package came with everything needed to set it up on its stand or hang it on the wall along with other picture frames. I chose to use the stand option and place it on a table in my living room. It only took about 5 minutes to set up on the stand. I used the picture that already came in the frame until I am able to select a picture I would like to add to it. Connecting the Music Frame to my phone was quick and easy. I was able to add it to my Samsung Smart Things app without an issue. Bluetooth pairing with my TV was quick and easy.

The Dolby Atmos sound was absolutely amazing. I played some music from my phone and the sound was heard throughout the room. It sounded like I was at a concert. I also love the tap feature. You can easily tap your Samsung phone on the frame and play the sound on the Music Frame. I watched a few movies on my TV, and the Music Frame adapts to the movie. I was able to clearly hear the voices. We had some guests over and the environment was noisy. The Music Frame adapted to that and raised the volume on the voices so I could clearly hear them. The sound also adapts to the scenes in the movie so you can clearly distinguish everything. The Music Frame definitely packs a punch. The Q Symphony feature is great and allows the sound to be distributed over my Samsung TV and soundbar.

The Music Frame is a great device with excellent sound. I also love the fact that you can also add the device to work with Google Voice Assistant. All in all it’s an excellent device and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

[13 x 13 x 6.5"] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've seen Frame TV's in friends' homes and was impressed. Yet I was skeptical about how Samsung would transfer this to a speaker / picture frame.

But I am skpetical no more. This is a strong design piece that blends into the decor of your home without overwhelming it and with no compromises in sound.
I found the sound to be richer and deeper than my previous hi-fi speaker which was immediately given away so the Music Frame could take its throne.

The Atmos support is very welcome and am enjoy testing it out with Apple Music Atmos Spatial Audio tracks. I wish Samsung would give a list of compatible services.

I do think the volume buttons could be redesigned so that they are easier to use without toggling the speaker mode by accident. A volume strip on a different side from the bluetooth and mic toggles would be ideal.

The Music Frame worked into my speaker group seamlessly and the SmartThings app makes it very easy to control and customize.

The ability to pair with my Samsung TV and soundbar is truly and Samsung is slowly taking over my entire A/V system.
