This model features a load capacity of 17.6 lb for stability when using heavy systems and it measures 3.5" high. It is lightweight as well at just 0.7 lb and the quick release system is Arca-type compatible. For adjustments, the BH-08 has a large knob that is a part of the Friction Control System for the ball head and a 360° panning function with an independent lock. Additionally, users can easily adjust the position of the camera on the ball head and even move it downward up to 90°.

[17.6 lb / 8 g] What makes this tripod amazingly versatile is the ability to position the center pole horizontally and then angle it up and down as desired. The lever release makes this operation smooth and effective. I have another high quality tripod that can position the center pole horizontally but it can't change the angle up and down. I have to do that by adjusting the legs. A bit clumsy at times. This tripod does it using the release lever. Much easier to do. 5

[17.6 lb / 8 g] I actually bought these (I own 2) to pair up with my Kessler Cineslider and they work wonderful. They support the weight easily and the photo ball head makes it very easy to level the slider. I will be using this for photos as well but for my intended purpose they are great. 5

[3/8"-16] I had originally bought this tripod for my kid, but after unpacking it and using it once – he can keep my old tripod. Steady and rock solid, fluid – I can not recommend this tripod more. 5

[17.6 lb / 8 g] I am new to photography, and my last Walmart tripod broke. I bought this and it has a learning curve for me as it is a ball instead of the pan style head. I like the ball better I think as it keeps your hands closer and there is less movement than I had with my cheap pan style one. But this is 10000% better overall. Great height and movement. Have already used it to take some good Spider-Web, Moon, and Stars pictures. Would defiantly recommend to someone. If you want to go hiking with it I suggest the Carbon Fiber one as I feel the weight when charring it around even though it is not heavy. 5
