The desert tan Pelican 1510 Carry On Case with Divider Set Desert Tanis an unbreakable, watertight, airtight, dustproof, chemical resistant and corrosion proof hard case used to carry any kind of equipment that needs to be protected from the elements. It is made of Ultra High Impact structural copolymer that makes it extremely strong and durable. It has a 0.25" (6.4mm) neoprene o-ring, and includes an automatic purge valve for quick equalization after changes in atmospheric pressure. It has a hinged case with double ABS latches that seal perfectly and padlock protectors that provide added strength and extra security against cutting and theft.

The 1510 comes with long side handles, a long front handle, retractable extension handle and strong polyurethane wheels with stainless steel bearings. It has an effortless release latch for the extension handle. The case meets current FAA requirements for carry on luggage.

A divider kit with a full sewn tub with felt exterior, and a padded, touch-fastening, divider set is included. Elastic hold-down straps help secure gear. The dividers feature a hi-visibility yellow Nylex covering.

A: I am able to fit my 610 body plus 6 different shorter lens (if you plan on storing a longer lens you will need to lay it sideways causing you to lose a few lens spots) and my speedlite 510. My 70 to 300 fits standing up but just barely. A 70 to 200 2.8 would have to lay down.

[Latch] This case is great for traveling. It's small, but I can get my mkiii, 3 lenses, and other goodies in it. It fits in most overhead compartments, but it doesn't fit overhead on small puddle jumpers. I prefer this case to my usual backpack, because it feels more protective, and it's easy to transport with its wheels. 5

[14.45 lb] Bang, into the carBang onto the ground, wheeling over the curb onto cobblestone crosswalks and rolling along the brick sidewalks of Boston in the rain and up the stairs into the carpeted venue. This little rolling case, on a regular gig holds 2 cameras, 3 lenses, 3 speed lights, some pocket wizards, cable, tape and rags. It safetly caresses about $12,000. worth of stuff. AND my shoulders don't ache from the weight of the bag I used to lug all over town. I'm happy! 5

[Yes] A great product to protect lenses and camera bodies. Have two camera bodies, 3 lenses, and two teleconvertors stored in the case. With this equipment and the case it is heavy. However, with the wheels and pull handle, I don't expect any problems. Also plan to handcuff the case to the trunk of my car when briefly leaving the equipment. The case is rugged and watertight. 5

[Yes] Here's what I can fit into this case: DSLR body, 5 lenses, batteries & cards, a Zoom recorder, shock mount, XLR cable, and shock mount. It's not too big or too small and perfectly fits everything I need. The padding takes a little time to figure out the best configuration, but it helps to have something that you can modify in the future as your kit changes, as opposed to using foam. 5

[Yes] I was looking for a sturdy travel case for a demo unit of electronic equipment and this ended up being the perfect fit. The construction seems very solid and the foam was easy to adjust to my needs.
