Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this compatible with Denon AVR-X6700h?

A: The Denon Rack Mount Kit is compatible with AVR3313, AVR2313 & 2313 Receivers.

Q: 2. Can I use this product to connect my new USB-C monitor (which doesn't have HDMI input) to my older laptop with HDMI video output?

A: Unfortunately it is not designed for that purpose. This is designed for capturing video in a computer therefore it will not work if you attempt to plug the USB-C side into a monitor.

Q: 3. Will this work w/ an Ipad?

A: This will not work with an iPad.

Q: 4. Will this work with Zoom?

A: Yes, the ATEN CAMLIVE will work with Zoom. In Zoom, change your video camera settings from your webcam to your respective camera with the ATEN CAMLIVE.

Q: 5. How many rack units does this take up?

A: The Denon Rack Mount Kit for AVR3313/2313 Receivers (BH # DERMR3313) will occupy a space of approximately: (W x H x D) 434 x 167 x 382 mm which is equivalent to 6.57 inches in height or 3.75 RU (4 RU).

Q: 6. Can I use this capture card to send video from my PC laptop with HDMI output to the monitor with USB-C input?

A: Unlikely, because the signal sent by the capture card via USB is not a video signal, which is what the USB-C port on the monitor accepts. Typically capture cards only relay data to the software driver which turns it into useable video footage on your encoding software. Another way to think about it is: if you plugged a USB-C webcam into the monitor, would it work directly without an interfacing computer? That would be what the capture card essentially does; it turns your hdmi output video signal into data.

Q: 7. Can the Denon RMR3313 rack mount fit the AVRX4100W?

A: Denon does not list that kit as compatible with the 4100.

Q: 8. Can input framerate support be confirmed more clearly than @60Hz? Will it work with 1080i59.54 or 1080PsF29.97 sources?

A: No. The supported import resolutions confirmed are as follows: 1080p, 720p,and 480p. No interlaced support is mentioned.

Q: 9. Would this fit an Ubiquit ER-X (4.33 inches)...if I used double-sided tape?

A: No, unfortunately the Ubiquiti ER-X is too small for this product.

Q: 10. Will this hold Network Equipment as well? For example Mellanox routers? Are any rails needed?

A: This will hold anything that can be mounted in a 19 inch rack with nothing additional needed

[19 in] This is plug-and-play: it worked right out of the box on my Mac, and also on a Windows-based laptop I use for another job, connecting to my Sony FX6. I had to figure out, through trial and error, that the frame rate I send out of the camera must be 29.97 in order for the computer to understand the signal. But once I had that sorted, I wound up with an image far superior to my webcam.

[5.2 in] This is what you need to get your camera with HDMI into your computer for streaming. I also ordered an IOGEAR HDMI to USB Type-C Video Capture Adapter (BH #IOGUV301 $99.95) and they are functionally identical and also in form. The only difference is the writing on the outside. My mac mini sees both at the same time and they feed OBS together as discreet sources. This is not a high-end Blackmagic or Matrox box, but I have no complaint for the streaming I'm doing.

[4.6 in] I use about a dozen of these to send HDMI to various LCD/LED screens and a projector. I've never had any problems with them.

[5.2 in] Using this in a small home music studio. Metal is thick enough to carry the weight of rack equipment without being too heavy. Depth is around 20 which allows placement in confined spaces.
