Each page has a basis weight of 120 gsm and the cover has a textured wood-grain feel to it. In addition, a red ribbon bookmark is included, so you never lose your place in the book.

Q: 1. My prints on this paper seem dull compared to the cotton rag. I am using a Canon 4100 and H's ICC. Thoughts?

A: We are sorry that you are having problems with the Hahnemuhle Museum Etching Fine Art Inkjet Paper 350gsm. Please look for the PDF that was also downloaded with the ICC profiles for the print media settings control transport speed to make sure everything is set correctly.

Q: 2. What does the FB stand for?

Q: 3. Have you seen any failure of the glue in winter when unit is hung above the fireplace? I just had a failure where the glue did not hold.

A: We have not had any reports of this issue regarding this product.

Q: 4. Is there a printing guide on this paper? There's always dark edge when I print them. I tried every method I found online and cleaned my printer multiple times, it still smudges. It didn't happen to other paper I use.

A: If you haven't yet, I would recommend downloading the ICC profiles for the paper to ensure the best printing results. https://www.hahnemuehle.com/en/digital-fineart/fineart-media/matt-fineart-textured/p/Product/show/9/14.html I would also keep in mind that your printer must be able to support the weight of this paper, it is thicker than most.

Q: 5. Is this the same paper as the Canon Museum Etching Photo Paper. Would the paper profiles on my canon pima pro-1, for the Canon Museum Etching Photo Paper match this paper

A: Yes it is the same paper by Hahnemuhle. You will be able to use the same ICC profiles.

Q: 6. How many sheets in the box?

A: 25 sheets are included in one box.

Q: 8. What is the paper weight in US ?

A: The metric weight of the paper is 200 gsm = 53 in bond weight.

Q: 9. How does the archival quality of Hahnemuhle Baryta FB compare to Hahnemuhle Fine Art Baryta?

A: Not sure how to answer that, but the non FB is a better paper for me. The FB has a slight magenta cast. The Fine Art Baryta is very very nice. I havd always used Canson or Ilford for Baryta until I tried these 2 papers. The Hahnamuhle Fina Art Baryta is slightly more expensive than the FB, but the surface is slightly textured and the color rendition is fantastic. I would be confident that both papers are as archival as the manufacturer can make them. Don't worry. Just make great prints.

Q: 10. What is the grain direction of the 12 by 12 inch book & album paper?

A: The Grain direction of these sheets will be short grain. The grain direction runs parallel to the spine of the book. Short grain sizes have a grain direction running parallel to the short side of the sheet. (The Book & Album paper is actually 13x12 because 1 of that is for the spine area, so the the spine side is the short side.)

[120 gsm] Our projects cover just about any subject, in almost any context. Currently, we're working in the wild recording natural sounds and conducting interviews surrounded by interested birds, bugs and lovely bucoli airiness. This appropriately blue microphone, combined with our Sound Devices mixer (also purchased at B&H), has made a gentle heaven of these earthly sounds and made our interviews sharp, clean and absolutely authentic. It's remarkable weight (almost nothing) and built-in low cut, gradual low cut and presence settings make it more flexible... suitable for interior voice recording. I've tried and tried to think of what might be a drawback about this amazing bit of technology, but I can't think of a thing. Using it is simply a humbling experience. Thank you Scheops! 5

[Blank] Printed monochromatic image of a black horse with white markings. I was very pleased with the rich tones on such a delicate paper. Not so happy with the color, but could just be me, not the paper. I will be ordering more paper in the future for black and white images I don't print in Platinum. 5

[8.4 x 6 x 0.4"] I've used this mic for interior interview style shoots and it has performed perfectly. True to what others have said about it, the mic really captures the true sound with no coloration of signal and very good side rejection. If you are booming, you have to cue carefully due to its high directivity but when you hit the sweet spot, this mic shines. The two cut filters and one boost work as you would expect from a mic of this quality and I can't wait to use this mic in some more demanding situations. This mic has taken its place right next to my MKH 50 and Sanken CS2 as a valuable part of my arsenal. Have not used it yet in high humidity or outside. 5

[Book-Style] This is an amazing shotgun mic. It's light, it is very directional with low color on off-axis sound, not hyped, dialog sounds natural, like someone is just speaking to you, and it is beautiful. People recognize this microphone even if they don't know anything about it. This is hard to think of as just another tool in my arsenal as it is also really a work of art. 5

[0.55 lb] I have been using this mic for over 7 years now, and I can say without a shadow of a doubt, this is the best investment I have ever made. The only issue I can see is: If your pre is having issues, if your pre is low quality or if your pre is perfect, you WILL hear it. This mic is unbelievably clear for a shotgun. I would recommend a Sound Devices pre-amp equipped recorder (like the 722 or 744) just because of this. The new Zoom H6 is what I'm beginning to use for misc foley or field recording, and it works very well, but, if recording anything that won't be buried, this mic warrants a strong, clear pre-amp like from the Sound Devices. I highly recommend this mic. 5

[Portrait] I love this! It's indispensable in my studio. I'd rather have swatch books than buy a sample paper pack to print on, because I can tell just by looking and feeling a swatch if a paper appeals to me. These are cheap, so they're a no brainer. 5
