This Garner SW-2 Workstation HD-2XT Degausser IRONCLAD PD-5 SSD-1from Garner SW-2 Workstation HD-2XT Degausser IRONCLAD PD-5 SSD-1bundles the SW-2 Workstation with the HD-2XT Degausser, IRONCLAD Verification, and both PD-5 and SSD-1 Destroyers. The HD-2XT hard drive and tape degausser features a 7-second complete erasure time and accepts drives up to 1.25". The standing-height SW-2 Workstation houses and supports the media destruction components. Document the erasure of your data using the included IRONCLAD Verification System, complete with scanner, touchscreen interface, image-capture, and report-generator software (download).

The PD-5 Destroyer offers another level of data destruction, crushing hard drives with 15,500 pounds of force. The included SSD-1 Solid-State Destroyer works within the PD-5 to obliterate your sensitive data. A recycling bin and two media storage bins help you keep track of your media's destruction status.

[Continuous] I couldn't figure out how to revise my original review, so in all fairness I'm writing another. After much thought regarding my original unit that ultimately failed, I've come to the realization that I might have zapped the SSD while handling it on that dry November day. I failed to use my ESD strap and therefore might have paid the price. I replaced it with the same model and it works fine with expected data transfer rates. 5

The look can range from subtle to very pronounced depending on your subject and which filter you use from this pack. I say if you like the samples shown on the product package, you'll probably have a lot of fun with this. Included are two photos I made, one with the Austin filter and one with the Northern Lights filter. 5
