Position and support your camera in ways you could have never imagined with the Acebil TAE-324CF Carbon Fiber Tripod H805F Pan/Tilt Headfrom Acebil. Offering a multi-angle central column, the TAE-324CF can place your camera in unique ways by tilting the center column of the tripod. This ability makes it easier to capture tough-to-photograph subjects and can help you create a stable setup where a standard tripod may not be able to reach. This carbon fiber model weighs just 8 lb and can hold a camera setup of up to 11 lb.

The TAE-324CF can reach an impressive height of 77" and features four leg sections, each with quick-flip locks, so you can more easily control the height of your camera. The legs can also be independently set to different angles so you can ensure you have a stable setup on uneven ground, and there is a spring-loaded weight hook for added stability when required. Additionally, for quickly checking if your camera is level, there is a bubble level present on the TAE-324CF, and each leg has a large foam grip for use in a range of weather conditions.

Packaged with the tripod is the H805F Pan/Tilt Head, which offers excellent handling for users who need smooth movements for video. This head features fixed counterbalance and drag that will help dampen any movement. Also, it has a sliding quick release plate that makes it easy to balance the camera by just sliding it within the ±1.4" range.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Are the carbon fiber legs more rigid than the aluminum? I ask bc I have the mt055pro3 aluminum but I think one of the sections bent slightly so getting it open and closed is a real hassle. Also, is there any concern with the carbon fiber breaking in cold weather?

A: Yes, the Manfrotto MT055CXPRO3 Carbon Fiber Tripod would be stronger and more rigid than its aluminum counterpart. We have not had any complaints or issues with carbon fiber tripods breaking in cold weather. While aluminum may be heavier and can be more stable, carbon fiber tripods would be lighter in weight, and you would not have the issues of your skin/hands sticking to the bare metal in below-freezing weather.

Q: 2. I either couldn't find it or I'm just blind, but I was just wondering how many release plates come in this package. I assume just one?

A: It only come with one plate

Q: 3. Is the warranty valid if I live in Canada?

A: Don't know the answer. Ask Manfrotto. They have good customer service

Q: 4. What's the difference between the xpro and 054 magnesium ball head?

A: If you are referring to the XPRO ball head vs the 054 head, then the 054 had an extra feature which allowed you to go beyond 90 degrees to 100 degrees when using the camera in portrait mode. Other than that, they are very similar in size and design. The newer XPRO removed that feature based on feedback from the user base.

Q: 5. Does this come with a Manfrotto carrying bag ?

A: It didn't, at least when I bought it.

Q: 6. Could I use MVH500A head with this tripod ?

A: No, you would need the MVH500AH

Q: 7. I'm going to buy one more tripod.I have the opportunity to purchase manfrotto 055cxpro3 or manfrotto mt055cxpro3.What are the benefits of the newer tripod (manfrotto mt055cxpro3)?Thanks in advanceGershon

A: We have had the MT version for about a year and really like it. Since we do not have the earlier version we can't comment on the relative advantage. The fit & finish is outstanding and the leg clamps are a joy. Richard

Q: 8. What would be a good carrying bag option for the MT055CXPRO3 and the Manfrotto 502HD Pro Video Head?

A: Sorry I did not buy a special tote. I use an old duffle.

Q: 9. What type of feet are on this tripod?

A: The Acebil TAE-324F Aluminum Tripod features rubber feet.

Q: 10. Does it come with a carrying case

A: No it does not come with a carrying case

[3/4] Excellent stability and ease of use. I had an older aluminum 055 with the screw type leg locks and the flips locks are a huge time saver. I went with the 4 section since I travel often and this is more compact than the 3 section. The level indicator rotates which comes in handy when setting up for pano shots. I use a 410 gear head combined with this tripod works well for me. Very stable and precise for architecture. This is my forth tripod and hopefully my last for many years. My main reasons for purchasing was the 4 section and flip locks. The carbon fiber was just on impulse but glad I did - nice to save some weight on those hikes. When converting the center column from vertical to horizontal there is a red plastic piece that rises with the column and it seems a bit flimsy and out of place for the rest of the tripod. Besides that every component is very well made in my opinion.

[Carbon fiber] This is my first carbon fiber tripod legs. A step up from the cheaper all in one tripods I've used in the past and I would say well worth the upgrade. I've done some practice long exposure night shots in my back yard and it's night and day compared to what I was using before. Would recommend and a must have for long exposure images.

[Flip] Supports slightly heavy video cam. Smooth, light, and works as advertised!

[11 lb / 5 kg] I got this tripod recently for a heavier camera and I am very pleased with it. The only downside is that it is heavier than a tripod that I could not take on hikes, it is very solid and provides a lot of stability. Yet, it still folds in small enough space that it can fit into my airplane carry-on bag (diagonally without the head). It also extends high enough that I can take overhead shots easily. Overall a great product!

[Yes] I used to purchase to upgrade my aluminum Mafrotto tripod. The difference in the comparison between my old tripods weight and the new one is very noticeable. The leg height adjustments are very easy to make. All in all I am very pleased with my purchase.

[3/4] I've wanted one of these for years, as my older Carbon Fiber tripod is almost the same exact model, except it's the PRO3, which is taller when folded up to pack. And to think, I saved around $200.00 with B&H's recent sale special of this model. When I seen how much it was going to cost me, I immediately jumped at this model!
I absolutely love the shorter profile when traveling, pack packing, etc. It makes it much easier to pack/attach it to my backpacks!

Thanks B&H!
