The black Pelican-Hardigg BlackBox 4 RU Rackmount Case is a basic, no-frills, double-ender case designed for applications using up to 100 lb of equipment with a typical fragility rating of 40-80 G. It is a lightweight and compact roto-molded polyethylene case with shock mounts that provide 2.0” of sway space to isolate the equipment. There is a 24" rugged steel rack frame with 10-32 threads. The rack is engineered to provide a secure and mobile electronics enclosure and the molded-in rib design provides secure stacking and interlock. The case is transported by two edge caster built-in wheels.

Dimensions of the Element 1 are 32.9 x 17.9 x 5.1" (836 x 455 x 130 mm) for width x length x height and the ProX case accommodates mixers that are 19" wide and up to 17.5" (10 RU) deep. [50.05 lb] Very sturdy and heavy ATA case will protect your gear. I was surprised that it didn't include the hardware to mount my Mackie 1604 VLZ3, since the product photo showed the mixer in the case, but not too disappointed. 5

[100 lb / 45kg] I needed a small rackmount for my mixer. After doing some searching, this unit was clearly the best value for the price. I placed the order and a few days later, the manufacturer called me to ask if I was interested in a free upgrade which included a removable laptop tray at no additional charge. [100 lb / 45kg] I love this case! My PreSonus mixer was a tad too long to fit the ProX 8U Case, so I ordered this one, and it is another great ProX Case! This ProX mixer case is very well built, my mixer is solidly attached, and now fully road worthy. I will likely order more ProX road cases from B&H- great cases, and fassst delivery! 5

[Built-in wheels] This is a great case; well built, solid, attractive, and perfectly slim for a compact system. With a mixer and controller taking up 7 spaces, there's still plenty of room for cables and a power conditioner. My only concern is regarding the single handle. While effective, a second handle would be nice; With a few pieces of gear mounted inside, the empty weight of 24 pounds quickly gets up to 40+, which can get strenuous on one arm if you have to walk a distance. Still a great product though. 5
