[101] I never thought to find a speaker that would fill me with saturation to listen to music with the sound quality that can be enjoyed

[5.23] I have no idea why Yorkville speakers (particularly these PS15P Parasource speakers) aren't really that well known or as popular as all the other name brand speakers like QSC JBL EV ect. These speakers have a ton of power, sound and look great and have similar or better specs than lots of other speakers. I'm so glad I purchased these! I'll be picking up the matching subs next..BOOM! Thank you B&H for helping me with my order. You guys have earned my business and went above and beyond to make sure i was taken care of.

[21.21 lb] I purchased these speakers to replace the 12 inch woofers that were in two PA 121 cabinets originally sold by Mackie Industrial. These were manufactured by RCF in Italy and rebranded as Mackie. The original 12s had basically rotted away and were unusable. I emailed Eminence and they confirmed that this would be a good replacement choice. The build quality of these Eminence speakers is very impressive and professional. When it came to testing, I was very pleasantly surprised! Punchy lows, very clean mids. In my system I have the cabinets set up for bi-amping. The crossover point is set at 3000 HZ. I would describe the sound as very musical and accurate. I also own a pair of QSC K 10s. I did an A-B comparison and found that the Mackie speakers with the eminence 12s sounded very similar to the K 10s but a little cleaner and much, much louder. The efficiency and output level is almost unbelievable at this price point. (about 300w available to each 12 inch and about 50w to each horn) The first time I had an opportunity to use these speakers was at an outdoor 5K race as an announce system at the finish line. We were covering an area about the size of two football fields with several thousand people. The sound was great and the customer was very happy. It sounded like a much larger system. One additional benefit, the cabinets are now noticeably lighter than they were before. That's always a plus! I highly recommend the speaker; you will not be disappointed.

[80 oz] Arrived double boxed in perfect condition. It's the best rated power conditioner I've been able to find and enough power at 15 amps to run a Threadripper Pro Workstation rig. I use a Furman AC 215A on my FV43U monitor and a small integrated amp for sound.

[5.23] For the price you cannot beat this speakers they are other brands in the similar price but i trust peavey they are crystal clear and have a deep bass and if you register them online you get 5 years warranty.

[5.23] Finally got to use these at a gig just this weekend after purchasing them last summer. I've used them a bit before but really never have had a chance to really air them out and see what they can do.


Wow.


I had these outside up against a wall on a patio outdoors and had to provide audio for a wedding, both the ceremony and the reception. The ceremony itself was about 100 yards from the speakers. No problems at all, these handled that job with ease.


I haven't invested in a subwoofer yet, and with all honesty I wouldn't get the Yamaha subs to go with this when I do (JTR Captivator 218PRO is 3dB down at 27hz for anyone reading this) but it really didn't matter at all. Once it was time to get down and boogie, these speakers brought it with crystal clarity. I still had a ways to go before distortion and we were just rocking the whole mountain valley in Lincoln, MT.


Truly awesome speakers. No distortion at all at insane volume levels with some heavy dance music. Great bass and the mids/highs are crisp and clear. I can't recommend these enough nor the service I received here at BHPhoto. Top quality company and products!

[80 oz] I have only used these speakers once but suffice it to say I am very impressed with sound level and quality of sound!!

I play in a three piece wedding band, drums, bass and guitar. 

I had a gig at an outside venue and decided to test these speakers out there.  I had been led to believe the venue was smaller and guests would number about 150.  When I got there the place was bigger than I expected and there were a bit more than 200 guests. To top it off, the dance floor was located a ways from the band.

When I fired them up and did the sound check I knew that the speakers were going to handle the event just fine.

I used a bass drum mic and an overhead for the drums.  I also put the guitar and  and a little bass guitar through the speakers.  These speakers put out some surprising  volume and quality sound. The vocals sounded very nice and clear.

Granted, these speakers are and upgrade from the $800 to $900 per speaker I was using, but nevertheless these Yamaha bring the volume and quality of sound that IS the next level. I can only Imagine how they sound with the Yamaha subs which I plan on getting soon.

I am very satisfied with my purchase. And bottom line, these speakers make my band sound better, and that is good for business.

[8 Ohms] I was surprised with the built quality of the speaker and the performance. Works great. Mainly bought for Karaoke. A little bulky for the room, have not used it outdoors yet but seems will work great.
