[0.245 lb] I'm using this over the lens hood of an an RF 100-400 f5.6-8. Now I can leave the hood on and the plastic lens cap off, which saves time. The hat easily smooshes into my pocket while shooting. Seems like the fit is key, and the medium is perfect for this lens hood (which measured in the middle of sizes specified as "medium"). Definitely won't fall off, but not hard to get back on. Love it! Recommend checking your measurements carefully. 5

[UPF 50+] This was my first hood hat experience because I had a lens that couldn't be fitted by a cap with had a hood that was too shallow to trust alone for protection. The sizing guides were helpful to figure out which size to order and this hood hat fits perfectly, giving it protection for the front lens element as well preventing abrasions from the side from other equipment in the backpack. 5

[0.245 lb] I purchased the XXL size as I have large hands and didn't want any movement restrictions. This worked perfectly. I used them with hand warmers inside the palm to shoot a football game in 40 degree weather on the day they arrived. My hands stayed warm and I had great control of the camera and lens. (Nikon D5 and 80-400). I could easily adjust settings and make changes without removing the gloves. 5
