[78 dB or more] I was looking for an upgrade for my built-in webcam (HP laptop about 5 years old), but I wanted something with a wider viewing angle and better image quality. This unit was plug and play (it uses a standard USB connection on the computer side and a Type C connector on the camera side). I liked the fact that the cable was not simply attached to the camera since I could replace the cable in the future if necessary. The CAM-200 showed up in Zoom as a camera option immediately (I had to close out of Zoom and re-open it, but that's it) and I did not need to download any drivers...It just worked. As far as image quality, it was a big upgrade from my built-in camera, much clearer, with better color rendering, and the field of view was much wider. It also reacted much better to strong light sources coming from behind me (my built-in cam would often wash out when sunlight was coming in from a window directly behind me). The clip mount is just OK, it certainly works fine, but it takes a little adjusting. The unit also has a threaded shoe mount on the bottom which is handy if you want to mount it on a small tripod. Packaging was nice and B&H kept updating me on the order as this was initially back ordered. All in all, very happy with the product/purchase experience. 5
