Designed for medical personnel and first responders, Nitecore MT06MD Medical Flashlight for Healthcare Professionalsis a sleek and slim pocket torch suited to a wide range of uses. Its Nichia 219B LED mimics sunlight for accurate colors and contrasts, its waterproof aluminum housing stands up to the elements, and it runs on widely available AAA batteries.

The MT06MD offers three output levels, including a 4-lumen low power setting ideal for pupil inspection. Runtimes for the two AAA batteries range from 35 minutes at the 180-lumen high power setting to 35 hours on low. Easily turned on and off with the tailcap push-button switch, the light features constant current circuitry for a stable and consistent output across the life of the batteries. Its hard anodized aluminum housing is IPX8-rated, submersible to 6.6', and suited to sterilization by submersion in alcohol. The stainless steel pocket clip keeps the light securely in place and ready for use.

    A: It is compatible with most flashlights that have an eyelet hole to accept a lanyard. The SureFire Fury Dual-Fuel Tactical LED Flashlight does not have an eyelet so it cannot accept this strap.

    A: The batteries are CR123A. You need 2 of them. They are available as standard (non-rechargeable) as well as rechargeable. I bought the Watson brand batteries with the charger and so far they seem to work fine. I don't have anything to compare them to.

[0.1 lb] I was primarily interested in this filter to watch owls and other nocturnal animals. Like it! Note that the distance at which you can see an object will be reduced by a factor of 10, compared to white light. This is about 40 m at high power - still enough to spot an animal without blinding it. 5

[0.1 lb] As a senior lecturer in clinical neurology, I'm very satisfied with this medical torch ! If you are clinical neurologist, like me, or neurosurgeon or specialist in internal medicine, then this torch is very sufficient ... But, if you are ophthalmologist, you may need something more than this. I will encourage my students to buy it - it's price is cheap. 5

[Aluminum] I already had a red filter exactly like this so I knew what I was getting. It works great. I have a 2000 lumen flashlight that it works well on and a 500 lumen LEP (Weltool W4) that it also works great on. The rubber holds the glass on securely and can help keep it from rolling. 5

[0.1 lb] Looked high and low for this. Ended up working great. I needed a hunting light but didn't want to drop another $170 on a light I'd only use 1 or 2 times a year. This was a perfect fit for my Streamlight 1000 lumen Rifle mount. PERFECT!! 5

[1x LED] Its a filter. Does it filter and make your flashlight cast red light? It sure does. This is a replacement for another one that was lost. So they can fall off your light. Use some tape to keep it in place if the light is going to be going into and out of a pocket or bag. 5
