This is a solid piece of metal and works perfectly to adjust the Westcott flex 1'x2' or any 2' mat perfectly. Came wrapped up nice and have zero issues with it. It does have to sets of holes for you to mount the flex light in, one towards the middle and one towards the end. 5

This is an update to a previous review, which had one big error, (other smaller errors), one big omission, (and a few other omissions). One omission is that, specifically, I use it under Ubuntu 2022.10, & with Flight Gear Flight Simulator (FGFS). Previous review I had problems [INS] physically [SNI] installing it. The four screws which attach the quadrant to the support were missing. The documentation did not specify what screws they were. I reached out to Logitech Support which said that they do not stock nor ship that part, and what I have to do is return it to the store for exchange. Well, that solution did not seem efficient for four screws. Fortunately, the email did specify what screws they were, (Phillips [EDIT] M4 16 mm [TIDE]), and so I just bought some and installed. So, dead zone. Yes. Only within the slight play at the centre rest point. Get used to the slight play, where there is no tension, and one gets used to the dead zone. Once tension is felt in the yoke, the system responses to movement. It seems fair. One does not want the plane slightly moving when there is no tension in the yoke. It may not be realistic, but it works. [INS] If it does not work for you, the deadzone is totally adjustable via software. (I use "jstest-gtk" and "joystick"). The dead zone can be expanded, contracted, shifted, or completely removed via software. Some amount of "dead zone" is desired so that there is no 'jitter' in the controls when the joystick is at rest, (or at the far extremes). Also, [EDIT] no [TIDE] software from Logitech for Linux, but Linux has software for these devices [INS] such as, 'joystick,' and 'jstest-gtk' [SNI]. Previous review. I should also mention that the yoke only moves 45 on the roll axis, and not 90. That is not a problem for me, but it might be for others who want total realism for planes where the roll axis has 90 movement on the yoke. 5

When flying Microsoft Flight Simulator, this makes it much easier than flying with the keyboard. Used in conjunction with Thrustmaster T.Flight Rudder Pedals, it's a home run! 5

This yoke and throttle quadrant is really solid. It was immediately recognized by MSFS, and is easily configured. It mounts easily to a desk or table. I love that additional throttle quadrants can be added inexpensively. Well worth the money. 5

While this yoke system is on the cheaper side of things, it still preforms very well. The software is also easy to use and it plays very well with the latest flight sims. One thing of note to other users is that when you connect it to the computer, make sure the yoke and levers are at there home position otherwise the center for the yoke will be off. 5
