The white VT500WA Lavalier Microphone for Lectrosonics Transmitterfrom VT500WA Lavalier Microphone for Lectrosonics Transmitteris used for vocal and speech reproduction in environments and applications such as outdoor sports, broadcast, film, rental houses, and rugged outdoor shoots. The VT500WA is an IPX-7 certified waterproof version of the VT500 lavalier microphone which means it can endure temporary water submersion up to 3.3' (1m). It has a reinforced cable that protects against sweat, cuts, and tearing. A: I'm not sure about standby mode but I've gotten 3.5-4 hours out of use out of the thing. I always use lithium batteries. Energizer makes two different ones though: Advanced which they say lasts up to 6 times longer and Ultimate which they say lasts up to 9 times longer. Great mic!

A: If it didn't say for use with Sony than it will not work. Both Sony and Sennheiser are 3.5mm connectors. But they are not the same the same is true if you buy a Countryman which makes great mic's for about every connector out there. If it's a Sony make sure the mic says for Sony. The same is trued with Sennheiser.

Q: 10. Is the 3.5mm plug compatible with the mic input of a SONY PCM-D100 recorder?

A: No. This is meant to be used with a Sony wireless system.

[White] These little transmitters from Lectrosonics do so much in tiny package. great range, no drop outs or interference issues. Being so small they are easy to hide on tight and challenging wardrobe. They can be controlled using the lectro Rm iPhone app which means the only time you need to physically retrieve the pack from talent during a performance is to change the battery- which you will do less often due to the fact you can put the Tx to sleep when the talent is off the set and wake it up again when needed using the afore mentioned app. 5

[White] This tx works, even after having been dropped or submerged in water, remember to have the antenna above water for it to work! Have a few of them and they have gotten some interesting dialog in Alaska over the years. 5

[White] We use this product to allow the preacher to leave the pulpit and to be heard especially, during powerpoint presentations. This is our second Bogen mic. Very satisfied. 5

[0.345 lb] This allows us to send off our belt pack for repair and allows the cube to be used for a lav mic. No more complaints from the photog about not having a lav available. Very rugged and believe it or not it is actually photog proof. 5

[White] Works just as described! Very handy for keep track of which transmitter goes to which receiver! However it can be a little bit of a pain in the butt to take off/put on the caps on the antennas of the Lectrosonics UCR411 and UM400A. Same with the Lectrosonics UCR211. But super easy to put on the UM200C! 5

[White] I do production sound for a varity of different types of projects from feature films, to 1 day commercial shoots. I use these in the field everyday. They are low energy consumption and I typically only have to change batteries twice in a 10-14 hour day. (I power them down during lunch and any time we have a long set up.) I have never experiences any rf cutting like on the 100 series or other brands of lavs. 9.8 out of 10!!! 5
