A: I use this for my large Photoflex softbox, it has the hook part of the hook and loop and fits just fine. If you move the defuser in just a bit you will have plenty of space to add the grid to the softbox. It does add more wait to the end of the softbox but it works well and stays in place.

A: No. We highly do not suggest using the following item with a 1000 watt bulb to avoid damage or any fires.

A: The Photoflex Grid has velcro all around the outer edge, so if your brand soft-box can accept velcro all around its outer edge the Photoflex Grid may be a bit large but usable..

A: Unfortunately, the grid is not compatible with the Chimera Medium Strip Bank.

A: This does require a light specific speed ring. The speedring will lock to the face of the light in various ways depending on the design.

[0.04 lb] Add your speedlite and the photoflex grid and you have yourself one great light. I love my 7' photoflex OctoDome as much as I love this Extra Small OctoDome. Drop the power down all the way on your flash and move it about a few feet from your subject and you have one great shot. I love just using one light. 5

[0.04 lb] when my octodome XS arrived i was very excited to set it up.it arrived at our office so i did not have my gear with me to test it out, but i assembled it still to see how it looks. I was surprised on how easy it was to assemble and how durable the materials used. I read on some reviews that it was hard to assemble and dismantle so i was scared but once i read the instructions briefly to get a general idea on how to do it i was able to assemble it and dismantle it without breaking a sweat. As soon as i got a the chanceto use it when i arrived home (i've been planning on doing this product shoot for weeks now) prior to purchasing the Octodome and finally i got to do it. What came out was one of my favorite shots, it was a simple light set up but with the help of the octodome it put more drama and class to it. then only down side about it is that i want another one..:-) maybe ill buy the octodome S next. truly a great product from a great company. great purchase and value especially if its your first light modifier like mine.:-)needs to find a way how to mount PW'S especially FLEX TT5 without turning the flash head around if you want the flash to be completely inside and still have access on the flash controls 5
