[Polypropylene] I am using it to show my photos to clients. It is very nice looking and professional. I was afraid that it might look like cheap portfolio but I was pleasantly surprised with the look and the quality. Adding pages is a nice bonus as you can expand your portfolio. It takes standard binder pages. The unit came with 10 pages. I ordered an additional 10 and still room to add more. 5
