For 4x5 film I like the 5x7 trays better. The sheets don't float around as much in the smaller trays. If you're new to sheet film developing (or any film developing), I highly recommend the Film Developing Cookbook by Anchell and Troop. Very good reference that describes tray developing technique in excellent detail.
